Hyatt Regency Aqaba Ayla Resort

The property is very nice. They have a few problems regarding the music. We had to mention 3 times to the manager to assist in this area. You could still hear it in your room until 12.00. The regency lounge is well worth it. There could be more variation with the food but service especially Fatima excellent.

Very nice, brand new hotel - comparable to other modern hotels in the Gulf region - very good value for money. Very good food but restaurant options limited to only 1 buffet style after 8pm. Room service very good. SPA under repair but massages good value for money. A little bit far from the town centre. Diving operator collected from the marina just in front of hotel. Well trained and good attitude staff - mix of local Jordanians and very nice Kenyans. Tips to improve - Turkey bacon and HP sauce for breakfast, direct access to Marina, extra restaurant choices in the evening

The check in wasn’t going well until Mary showed up and gave the require attention , her intervention made all the difference , very professional receptionist Overall the facilities are good , family friendly , some slowness when it comes to room service The breakfast buffet can be better , but it was fine and convenient

Overall it’s a very nice hotel with very helpful and friendly staff .. it was a pleasure to stay for few days and overall I would recommend.. however last day was somewhat ruined due to construction noise by the main pool of neverending drilling .. not much relaxation .. it was suggested that perhaps children’s pool or sea beach would be quieter but be honest didn’t come here to listed to kids screams not to sit in a very windy beach .. so yes relaxation before heading for a 4 hour drive to the airport on Sunday would have been nice .. I just think that staying in 5 start hotel would avoid construction and drilling noice ..

The whole property was amazing. It is new so not everything is completely finished. So there is still more to come! I was supposed to stay 3 night originally but enjoyed it so much that I booked another night. The staff are incredible, thank you to Kais in reception and the lounge, Murad in the lounge, Fatima in the lounge. Thank you to all the chefs whether in the lounge or in olive tree at breakfast. I have been a vegan for 8+ years, they all took so much time to make things special for me and to come up with different creations they even made bread in the lounge specially with out egg butter or milk so that I could enjoy some. Additionally thanks to the entertainment Anastasia’s they were both great keeping people engaged and getting them to play games or take time for yoga. Lastly thank you to the spa staff everyone was amazing and made sure my treatments were perfect! Additionally the beach staff were great as well working hard to keep it clean and delivering refreshments and food to guests. Would highly recommend this hotel it was my first Hyatt experience and I hope to have many many more.

Excellent, only location is far. I recommend more frequent free hotel shuttle services to city Centre

Access from city is not convenient, with security at Ayla and another security at the hotel premise remote from city life

The property was very clean and there are plenty of different art works hanging, nice soothing music that starts around 8:15 am.
