Riu Palace Baja California - Adults Only - All Inclusive

I have stayed at this property multiple times in the last 2 years. The staff is always very friendly and the facility is very well kept. The food is marginal (but I've been told this is typical of most all inclusive resorts). My main complaint on this most recent trip was that we could not serve ourselves from the buffet style lunches and dinners. It made it difficult to sample multiple dishes when you ask for something, and are given a huge serving of it -- only to find you didn't like it. Also, an attendant may be helping someone else, so then you have to stand around and wait. There were times I wouldn't see anyone around, so i'd help myself, only to have someone come running. I hope they change this process. However, I would recommend this property and will likely stay here again during my next trip to Cabo.

My friend and I stayed at RIU for two nights. From we came to we left the staff was extremely friendly, service-minded and on top of things. The hotel is beautifully located, very clean and has a great selection of food and drinks. Would definitely come back another time!

Amazing Xmas get away.

We traveled here from 12/10 to 12/13. The resort was great in every way, honestly. Wonderful service, good food, nice drinks. The grounds of the resort are great -- best I've been to in Cabo, and I've been there a lot. It felt more like being in Cancun than Cabo, for those who have been to both areas. For those concerned about Covid-19, all employees wore masks and they cleaned everything thoroughly between guests. Everything was spaced out, and if you ordered drinks from the bar you needed to wear a mask. Otherwise, though, you could walk around by the pool without a mask and relax in your beach chair without a mask, unlike here in Vegas. So I think they struck the perfect balance to please all of their guests.

The staff was very friendly. The food was excellent and the facility was absolutely spotless. This is the second RIU hotel we have stayed at and this brand keeps their properties maintained better than any other chain ever. Highly recommended.

Overall stay was OK, service was outstanding but Food was just average and low quality and not much selection at all, I stayed in a front view suite and i feel like i get what i paid for so im happy for that BUT as expected and it was my fault for not leaving my documents in the room safe box my ID was stolen from my room, i can't say for sure they took money from my wallet because i did not kept track of my spending since i was tipping every time i ordered a drink or anything else, i do understand tips are included but i also like to tip on top of that, l will not use this chain again since i don't feel safe my personal belongings are safe while im out enjoying myself, i never left the resort or took my wallet outside the room that's why i know for a FACT it was taken from my room!

I stayed at the Riu all adults for 3 nights, unfortunately why I state that I had a terrible experience was because someone went into our room Sat Morning and stole all of my money out of my wallet. My wallet was left on top of the dresser by the television, woke up at 6:15 am to catch the sunrise at 6:42 am, left the room at about 6:35 am and made my way to the lobby on floor zero to see the view. When I came back my wallet was empty, after reporting it the hotel conducted what you call an investigation which was filling out a paper and answered a few questions. After that security walked us to our bedroom so they can also see if the money was “misplaced”somewhere else in the room. Then after a few hours someone came to our bedroom to check the key card entry’s and exits from our door. What boggled my mind is that I had proof I wasn’t in my room at 6:44 am and the sheet clearly stated there was activity at that time. The sunrise was at 6:42 and I had proof of videos and pictures with time stamps. How was I going to make it back to my room in 2 minutes? Well that was enough to conclude the investigation on their end because to them it was my partner or me doing that activity in the room. Hotel didn’t do anything for us they just told us we could leave the property and get our money back for our last unused day but we would have to leave at that very second which was about 11 am. Over 300$ Was stolen, point I was trying to prove was that someone went into our room and took it

It was well managed. The bed was not comfortable but ok I guess. Drinks were def diluted but over all it was a great vacation

What a wonderful getaway for Thanksgiving we had. It is a extremely clean and well maintained resort. The food was as expected for a resort. It was good for what food it is. The restaurants where good Japanese was probably our favorite. The room was clean and always well kept. The bed was not the best as in comfort however the sheets where very clean. The air conditioning was good in the room as well. This is a good resort and I would recommend it for a place to stay Cabo. I will also say if you do excursions or massages, don't buy them at the resort go out in town and find somewhere for much cheaper. The town is very safe and only like 10 minutes away from the resort to the marina which is safe.
