HOTEL BOUTIQUE CASA FLOR DE MAYO

This is a boutique hotel—8 rooms. It is decorated in typical Mexican fashion—tile, colorful furnishings. The staff is amazing//so helpful, friendly and caring. There is a communal kitchen in case you want to bring food in. The rooms are cozy but adequate and comfortable. There is no elevator so walking stairs is required. Matthew the owner is eager to offer tips of things to do. I would recommend to anyone who wants to get the flavor of México in historic center of Merida!

This is a wonderful, small boutique hotel. It is in a convenient location to walk to the Zocalo and has many restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is beautiful with many nice touches including a lovely lounge area and a terrace. As other reviewers have indicated, breakfast and service is amazing. The staff were always cheerful and happy to help answer any questions or make arrangements. I highly recommend this lovely place.

Amazing hotel, beautifully decorated. Most comfortable bed we’ve slept in anywhere in the peninsula. Wonderful staff who had tons of helpful info about places to visit and things to see. Located 3 blocks from a group of fine restaurants but in a quiet neighborhood, yet only a 15 minute walk to the Centro district. Hotel provides a continental breakfast that was much more, and better, than we expected.

This is a lovely little hotel, but it was Matthew and his staff (especially Edgar!) who went out of their way to make this probably the nicest stay I’ve had in any hotel anywhere. Fantastic breakfasts too.

Beautiful property. Excellent staff and service. Excellent breakfasts. The overall ambience is excellent. Great walking distance to restaurants and shops. Safe neighborhood. Would highly recommend!

Very nice and beautiful place. Rooms are clean and cozy. A bit small, but very nice over all. Staff and owners are always present to help in any way possible.

We checked out at 500am and the staff put out coffee, fruit and pastries for us at that time. we appreciated that a lot.

Welcoming, friendly and full of kindness, excellent service and delicious breakfast. Small and Beautiful with a wonderful feeling of a family taking you into it’s home with beautiful style and a comfortable common places to watch Netflix, relax or make food. They went out of their way to make sure we are taken care of when things happened outside their control ( city blackout).
