Tudor Oaks Inn

We will definitely visit again! Joanne and Terry were the best! The rooms were comfortable and the house was immaculate! The grounds were also beautiful. Convenient to Charleston, and lots to do if you decide to stay in Summerville! We miss Chloe already!!

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and they didn’t disappoint. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived.

The owners were gracious and lovely to spend time with! The room was beautiful, the entire Inn was spotless, and was so well located. I can't wait to stay there again!

If you are placed in a third floor bedroom, you will need to go up two flights of stairs. You will also be sharing a bathroom with another bedroom. In our two day stay, there were at least 4 times when I needed to use the bathroom it was not available -- already in use. The bedroom was nice but quite small. The hosts were very gracious and provided a lovely buffet breakfast.

This was a wonderful visit. Imaculate cleanliness. Friendly caring hosts. I felt like i was staying with friends that have a beautiful home. Highly recommended!

Joann and Terry are excellent hosts. The Inn is a short distance from everything including downtown Charleston and all the major plantations. The Inn itself is well maintained and relaxing. Breakfast is continental with fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries, and croissants. Coffee or tea is always available with Keurig. Wifi is available and reliable. St. Andrew's room is cozy and has private bathroom. The grounds of the Inn are meticulously cared for by Terry and Joann. Chloe the resident yellow Labrador is sweet and playful. Overall great experience. Highly recommend and will definitely go back.

Tudor Oaks is beautiful, inside and out, and pristine as far as cleanliness goes. The hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating and their yellow Lab, Chloe, was a bonus. All three were sweethearts! They even lugged my heavy luggage upstairs for me (not Chloe!). Stairs were a problem for me. I would have liked to have a glass in the room for brushing teeth. Food in the room was verboten; I understand why (the awful Palmetto bugs!), but I do like to have snacks and beverages in the room as well as a small refrigerator when I'm away. Although not convenient, there was a refrigerator available to guests in the garage. Another small table next to the chair would have been nice, too. There is really no place to sit and watch TV other than in bed but there is no room or appropriate space for another chair. The TV does not generate normal programming, pretty much just premium channels, and I missed that a lot. Continental breakfast was very nice, with a nice selection of pastries, fresh fruit, cereal and granola and yogurt, as well as coffee and tea. I generally don't like a shared bathroom, but there was no one else on my floor the entire time, so it was great. The bathroom and stall shower are very nice, though. Overall, my stay at Tudor Oaks was a really lovely experience and I recommend it. I enjoyed meeting Joanna and Terry and their kind hospitality.
