Windsor Califórnia Hotel

I have been to Brazil several times and stayed at 5 different hotels in Copacabana and Ipanema,This experience has by far been the best.The staff from the front door to reception ,restaurant and rooftop we’re very accommodating in friendly.My husband speaks the language but I do not and I felt very Thankful to the staff for assisting me and answering my questions when he was not around. I ate at the restaurant and the breakfast was excellent! They made omelette or fried eggs fresh if you requested it. I loved the upstairs pool deck with a wonderful view and the fitness room with updated equipment. I usually try different hotels every time I come to Brazil,however I think from now on this will be my first choice!

Excellent rooftop area with good service and a great view of Copacabana. The pool is small but it's a beautiful place to relax. I had one small issue around breakfast where I was told it was included and in the end it cost around 70 Reais. Everything else was excellent.

Directly across from Copacabana Beach. Great views of the beach as well as Christ the Redeemer from the 15th floor. Great rooftop pool and bar area as well. Would highly recommend

I stayed here for three nights and I loved every second of it. I think that the staff are very well trained and very helpful and kind. If they make a mistake (we’re humans) they are very apologetic. I had an executive room with a view of the ocean and it was really nice because I could see what was going on every single day. I loved the room service and my favorite part was ordering food to my room.. lol although I only did it two times. The food here is very good, you get a huge breakfast for only $12. It comes with all different types of bread, (on my last day they had chocolate donuts too) ham, cheese, jam, juice, coffee or milk, eggs, fruit and yogurt. Also I recommend eating at the restaurant they have upstairs! The food is so good too. And it has a such. a beautiful view of Copacabana beach and the hills.. it’s breathtaking. If you eat inside on the rooftop, you have a view of Christ the redeemer... incredible. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone :) Thank you to the staff..

My husband and I stayed in Rio for 6 nights in August 2020. Even though we traveled during a very crazy time with Covid, we had a WONDERFUL experience with Windsor California. Specifically, Mariana was extremely professional, attentive, helpful and positive! The hotel was very clean, with safety measures taken from check in to check out. We chose to change rooms to one with a balcony and it was a very easy and worthwhile change. The rooftop is amazing and the hotel itself is very new and in a very safe and scenic area of Copacabana. We will definitely be staying here again if we ever find ourselves in Rio. Hands down the best value for our money of everything during the vacation!

The staff was very helpful. Nice pool. Room was clean except for the rug by the beds.

The room smells moldy, I requested to change room but it still the same. Next day I was out of there to a different hotel.
