Great location, perfect base for wine touring with so many great wineries nearby. Room was clean, comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch for our winter getaway.

The roof main hole is broken. Snakes and spiders can get in Otherwise fantastic place

A beautiful peaceful environment- lovely views over winery. Suite with very nice furnishings. Great attention to detail.

Lovely accommodations in the Hunter Valley. Great stay and great room and service. Will come again next time

Its quite an unique property however the host was not very helpful. She also changed our booking last minute saying there is a problem with the original room but charged us the same rate when we were force to stay in a one bed when we originally booked a two bed

We booked here for my birthday weekend. My boyfriend and I were so excited for a weekend away at the Hunter Valley and were thinking about it for weeks! We paid $450 a night and it was NOT worth that!! We booked a balcony room on the higher level over looking the vineyards, the hotel over booked and tried to put us on the ground floor facing water tanks and dirt.. The air conditioner was mouldy and filthy with grime, it was poorly decorated and had minimal facilities to use. The TV was small, the lounge was so hard and small you couldn’t even sit comfortably on it. They had fake candles in the living room and half of them had flat batteries in them. The balcony was so small you couldn’t even fully open the door without hitting the table and chairs. And when you did sit on the balcony, there were these awful lights that change colour shining straight on your face and can’t even look out. For $450 a night, this is a complete rip off. We will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

We stayed 1 nite as we were attending a concert at Roche Estate Winery. Elizabeth was gracious to allow us to check in after 12 noon before we headed out via taxi. We would have liked to have stayed longer to enjoy coffee on the patio or a swim in the pool. We were thrilled to see a large kangaroo hopping across the road just as we were driving into the property.

I am regretful to book this hotel and find the host not friendly and not polite at all. - when i check in, i found that she just put her mobile on the chair and ignore my call ; - there is no free wine provided as mentioned in tripadvisor - the room inside is poorly decorated and small pool outside - the lounge is so small and the sofa is very uncomfortable - Everything included in the hotel is limited: only one microwave and two plates two cups. After using the microwave, the host blamed us make the room smelly which make me not happy at all - The most terrible thing is that she charged me unreasonable price from my credit card after she saw my friend come to my room visit me and mentioned that her room can only allow two people to enter Overall , i will not recommend this hotel to anybody!
