Buena Vista Beach Villas

Beautiful location in the heart of Manuel Antonio; close to shops, bars and restaurants. My reservation said ocean view but we got a garden view. Apparently none of the rooms with two beds are ocean view (misleading)

This quaint little place is right on the beach and the views are amazing. They have a great tiki bar outside and two small restaurants. The hotel staff was friendly and helped with everything including booking excursions. I would definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful beach and great service, great food and very clean

Location is beautiful. Right on the beach, swimming there is great with some surf to play in. Wonderful friendly staff look after all of your needs. Sloth was in the trees by the beach and a family of capuchins passed by daily! Meal and drinks at the beach bar are good and reasonably priced. Small hotel, so not crazy busy. Popular beach spot for some locals but lots of room on the beach for all to enjoy and well away from the really busy beach area!

Nice small hotel on the beach, They don’t have coffee maker in the room. Outside sewer system had issues during our stay. Otherwise lovely place on beach

I found the location to be fantastic , the beach was steps away and the rooms very comfortable. Perhaps the most notable was the staff. Not only were they friendly but also very accommodating and professional. I would definitely recommend this property and will visit again.

Great 5 day stay , Kind and hospitable staff , rooms on a scale of 1 to 10 , 10 being best I rated them at a 9.5 our beds where serta mattress the air conditioning was a mini split system providing ice cold room temps . The part that really amazed me was the quality and taste of the food kudos to the chefs . Looking forward to my return and having some Pura Vida at the Buena Vista Beach Villas .

The staff were all great. Super friendly and their English was terrific. A lovely casual beach hotel with a restaurant and bar on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. A very good value! I recommend it.

This was a Great place to stay right by a beach with a great vibe. The food was excellent and the bar is a fun place that will deliver your drink right to the beach. Though that is only 100 yards away. The staff were cool, friendly, and open. I will stay here again. Great value. Better than a resort for me

The overall stay was very pleasant. We arrived in May 2019 and the beach was beautiful. The water was warm but maybe a little rough but made for some fun times in the sea. The beach was generally quiet with plenty of space for yourself. The rooms were large and comfortable. We were in no 800 and had an excellent view and no noise issues. First impression is that the hotel is a little far from the shops and restaurants, but the reality it is not really. We did when we first arrived there ask the guy in reception to get us a taxi to some of the restaurants we passed on the way to the hotel. The taxi driver had no meter and charged us 4000 colours for a what turned out to be a 5 minute journey. Maybe the hotel should have warmed us or guided us a little more? However we quickly learnt the way. Walk to the park is easy and takes maybe 10/5 mins along the beach ( head left as you come out of hotel onto the beach). There are restaurants and shops on the way to head up the hill and to the restaurants towards Quepos. Simply take a bus which passed every 15 minutes right outside the hotel entrance on the main road. It costs 340 colones no matter how far you go. The bus back also drops you off just outside the hotel entrance.
