K29 Hotel

I'm torn about this place. I feel as though it has so much potential, but the noise level was insane. The walls were paper thin, and there was a pretty sizable gap below the door, so any time a door was opened on my floor, it was so loud I thought it was my own door opening. It was listed as a room with a kitchenette, and my room did not have that. The bathroom door is glass and does not seal closed, so it was quite uncomfortable when I had a friend in my room. The shower and toilet both leaked and there were ants in my room. However-the staff was very, very friendly and the bed was quite comfortable. A note about the part of town- no, it is not the safest or cleanest part of Athens, however it is a major city, so these areas are to be expected. If you are aware when you are walking around (particularly at night) you should not have any issues. I did not feel unsafe at any time. Overall, I would recommend this room only to heavy sleepers, and because of lack of bathroom privacy, to solo travelers.

We travelled in a family of 9 and none of us had any complaints. We spoke with the ladies in the reception who were all helpful and friendly. Located close to amenities and the hotel was in good condition.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel! All the staff members I spoke with were super welcoming and kind. They were professional with communication before my stay (arranging an airport pick up) and every time I spoke to them during my stay. The room was spacious for a European hotel, the bed was comfy, and the hotel overall felt very modern- it was definitely good value for the price!! Before booking, I read a lot of negative reviews about the area. Yes, it is not the most beautiful area of Greece; however, if you have any street smarts, you’ll be totally fine in the area. I did not wonder around alone at night, but I felt entirely safe during the day. Just be aware of your surroundings! Also check out the bakery down the street (Attitcus?) - super delicious and cheap! I would definitely stay here again!

I loved the staff. They were all very helpful and friendly. The room was small but had most things I needed. I loved the fact there was a system for you to indicate if you were ready for the room to be cleaned or not so you didn't get woken up in the mornings by maids. You could also easily adjust the temperature of the room (either hotter or colder) and the A/C was incredibly quiet. The bathroom was nice and clean and came with nice toiletries. The hotel also had a safe in the room, a tv and blinds that could be raised or lowered by the touch of a button. I didn't use them by the hotel also had a downstairs café, a gym and a spa. On the negative side there wasn't much room for storing clothes and only the apartments come with cooking equipment. The general rooms only come with a fridge and kettle. Also my shower leaked a little but I could just place the towel mat in the right place to prevent the water going far.

We just needed a hotel for a few hours because we had a long layover in Athens & this fit the bill - reasonable price, clean & comfortable. The only issue is the area it's in is not the best. The immediate surroundings (main road) are fine but the side streets not so nice.

Amazing place and great staff. Quiet street and in fabulous condition

The location is good, closed to metro station. The room is small but it has many USB sockets. Its WiFi and air conditioning are good. Staff are helpful. But its room service is not very good. When we first checked in, we found obvious coffee mark in the cups. The shower room had water overflow problem. The 7th floor, on where complimentary coffee and water to be served throughout the day as claimed was actually not in operation.

The hotel is nice and modern and in a good location. The shower design isn’t great as the dark coloured tiles show up old water marks and does not look fully clean. There is no instructions for the air conditioning, we had to call reception to find out how to work it. There is a black folder in the room with information about the hotel but not all information is correct. It needs updating. It says there’s a bar and lounge on the 7th floor and free coffee for guests- this is not correct. It also says there’s a laundry service if you leave your washing in the laundry bags in your room- this is also not correct. They do have laundry but you have to do it yourself. The staff were friendly enough it’s just false advertising and marketing which we were not happy about. We requested twin rooms but when we got there they were made up as doubles and we had to change them to twins ourselves. Even when it was done by hotel staff the next day the two beds were still positioned together like a double, just made up with different linen.
