The air condition was not working

Clean, quiet, comfortable. Great view of Ft. Jesus bay, deck with various food choices. I would recommend and stay on another visit.

English point surpassed our expectation. The staff was unbelievable kind and sweet to our children. The view was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the restaurants on the pier offered great food options. If we are ever back In Mombassa we will definitely return to English point

We liked the view, the kindness of the team. Although the service at the check in and in the restaurant was very too slow. We waited 1 hour and a half to have our dishes served at dinner.

Secure property with views across the water toward the old city of Mombasa. 5 restaurants, an amazing infinity pool, spa and gym. Rooms are really 2 bedroom luxurry apartments with all the amenities of your own home. Apartments are clean, beds very comfortable, area is quiet which aids one's sleep. Restaurant staff and security personnel are amazingly friendly and food is beyond great! The only downside is front desk staff and reservations: sorry to say, but they could be more and friendly. And they never responded to my emails or phone calls. I know they are busy, but it isn't that difficult to send a one sentence reply or pick up the phone. Airport transfers are offered as are day tours by very friendly drivers.

At check out I reviewed my bill for extras and could see that we were being charged for meals that we didn’t have. The receptionist didn’t believe us and we refused to pay until they adjusted the bill. There was a full dinner meal we were being charged for and yet we had dinner at a nearby restaurant which I had to produce the receipt for to demonstrate that we weren’t even in the hotel... will never return to that hotel.

Beautiful resort, with great suites and restaurants. I arrived at 2am so I asked for an early check of sorts, and they agreed to have me check in 10 hours early for 10,000 Kenyan Shillings ($135 CDN). I agreed, then shortly after they increased it to 15,000 and informed me it would not be the suite I would be staying at for the actual duration of my trip, but a junior room. I would check out of that room at 2pm and then moved to my pre-existing booking of 7 days. I agreed since it was 230am, and I had been on 3 flights to get to Kenya. At 10am they called and needed their junior room back, so they charged me 15k to sleep in a room for 6.5 hours. Once they arrived to change our rooms, we went from 2nd floor back to reception, and surprise, surprise; back to the 2nd floor. After I began voicing my concerns, some fruits were offered to offset the situation. Fantastic. When I finally got to the suite I had initially booked, I was impressed. But I spoke too soon. Since there was only two of us, they decided to lock the second bedroom since we wouldn't need it. When I asked them to come back to the room to unlock it, they did so; but then locked the office that was in the suite. I didn't bother fighting for this door to be unlocked, because I thought maybe they would cut off the power for the appliances in our full kitchen, but we found out shortly after; only the fridge worked anyways. The Suites don't have smart tvs for netflix/youtube, only the jr rooms, which was odd as well.

. Air conditioner is turned off while sleeping. 2. Cooler is not working. 3. Cannot bring food from outside. 4. Cannot bring water to the beach. 5. Housekeeping is not there unless you request it. 6. Internet service is not available regularly.
