My friend and I came to see the Trail of Tears, and staying here by the river was perfect and picturesque. This is a nice, clean, spacious historical property and we really enjoyed shopping the antique stores just a block away. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the convenience and cleanliness of the unit. Also appreciated that basic necessities like coffee, laundry detergent, and a hair dryer, we’re available to the guests. The finishes and design is really well done, so it feels like a cozy home to stay in. My favorite part was the balcony out back where we could enjoy views of downtown, as well as views of the boats traveling along the river. The bed and couch were very comfortable and made for a very relaxing time. The location is so close to such a great variety of shops and restaurants! Best of that was the one across the street , Minglewood Brewery, they offered their craft beer-to-go, which we enjoyed on the awesome patio! Overall great place to stay, and look forward to future trips at this unit.

This property has everything you need for your stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. Spotless and very well equipped, we wanted for nothing and if I needed to visit the area again, I wouldn't hesitate but to contact Keith.

Our stay at Kage House was beyond expectation and gave us the rest we needed over Labor Day weekend. One bedroom, very comfortable king bed with view of the Mississippi River; very nice kitchen and living room. Everything very clean. The outside spacious porch has a magnificent view looking across and down the river. The house has great character and a long history. Would definitely come back.

We loved staying at Kage House! We felt so at home! The location is great to downtown, the casino and the River Campus. We will definitely be back often since our daughter attends SEMO!

My husband and I stayed here a few years ago. We liked it so much we booked a weekend for my brother and sister in law for their Christmas present. The place is fun, clean, and great location. The owner is great to work with and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again.
