Great property and location, will stay there again in the future for golf trips.

what a great house for 8 guys for a golf outing. we had a wonderful time and loved the house.

The pictures are actually what you get. The house is fantastic and our group had a great time, especially sitting on the screened in deck on Sunday morning with coffee overlooking the golf course. The beds were very comfortable and LOTS of space for everyone! If we ever return to Birmingham, we will stay again. The owner communicates very well and I would highly recommend this place.

Our eight man group does an annual late spring golf trip every year, trying different venues each year if possible. We stayed at Rick Oster's Palmer Golf House in Birmingham recently. Wow!! Talk about logistical perfection for a guys' golf trip. Having already done Pebble, it may take a Bandon Dunes, Kohler, Pinehurst etc. not to return here every year. Given Rick's attention to detail in building these houses specifically for this purpose coupled with the tremendous golf of the RTJ, we will probably also throw Rick's golf houses in Plattville into the consideration mix as well for future years. The Palmer House is as advertised. Watch the video tour. No surprises. Great places to eat and hang out. No need for trips into town. Make one good trip to the grocery to stock the fridge for your trip and you're set. Great grill and kitchen, comfortable and roomy accommodations. Its a very short walk, about 150 yards to the Oxmoor Valley property clubhouse. You're literally, right there. The RTJ courses at Oxmoor Valley were in outstanding shape and the day at Ross Bridge, just a three minute drive away was perfect. All great tracks, but make sure to pick the right tees as the options vary dramatically. Cool elevation changes and nice variety amongst the four courses. Simply can't say enough positive things about the Oster House golf experience if you're planning a buddy trip to play the RTJ courses in Birmingham. Thanks Rick. We'll be back. This house is very accommodating, the details of the construction and comfort is astounding. We will return again. I agree with previous reviews, this house is amazing.

This property was a great place for the 7 of us to hang out after long day of golfing. it had a great open space for us all to be together and enjoy the trip.
