Well Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit 20

This hotel is advertised as 4.5 star on Hotels.com but it is more 3.5 in my opinion. I am a Gold member with Hotels.com so we get to do a bit of travels and familiar with services a hotel of that caliber should offer. The staff were friendly but most unhelpful. We got sent to a night market that was not operating on that night. The roof top pool was in a sad state and there was usually no one around to take order for drinks or snack. We booked a King bed but we got twin bed stuck together 😂. The apologized for it and told us the hotel was full. But that's the only thing we got. No compensation.only good thing about this hotel was its location for food options and shopping. Their breakfast is good too.

Location is good,quiet and safe and within walking distance to BTS station. Many restaurants with varieties of foods and local food stall and massage saloon alone the street. Hotel WiFi is not working well, has to re-logon every day and one staff told me it limited to two devices as my iPad cannot connect to WiFi. The pillow is too soft, one is too flat,two is too thick.

Pros: - The Staff at the front desk were great & very helpful - The Hotel was very safe and secure - It was close to a 7Eleven, small shop, massage places, street food, etc. - Only 10 minutes walk to the skytrain - Great free toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap, cotton swap, etc. - Nice tub if you want to take a bath - One of the staff members was outstanding, he is more on the heavy side and was such a sweet person, he truly made my trip and had my back when I needed him (he is a star and should be promoted ASAP) not sure his name though Cons: - I saw a roach crawling on the breakfast bar - Shower Head was very rusty and needed to be changed Due to cleanliness and a bit of a distance from the main attractions (i.e. the tuk tuk’s back to the hotel were also pricey because Sukhumvit is further away) - I would stay in a different closer hotel if I ever come back to Bangkok

Hotel was clean, bed reasonably comfortable, nice location. Somewhat spartan in decor and amenities.

Lovely rooms and a great spa. Clean throughout. Great place to escape from the city.

Every thing ok, only the water pressure of shower was very slow

The building exterior looks good and equipped with rooftop swimming pool. Didnt went down the pool as i feel the water oily, not sure if its because of essence oil being added to the pool water. Decent 15mins walk to asoke bts and provide free tuk tuk service to nearby stations. The hotel service is decent but couldnt provide extra mile service unlike other hotels(e.g. Eastin, Furama). A simple request to prepare bday surprise(i.e cards) for my mother in law could actually have them direct me to their webpage to purchase their service?! 50-50 i might be coming back

Great property and location. There are great restaurants in the area and a German Bakery 50 meters far from it! The hotel were very accommodating to our needs and we appreciate the kindness and attention, upgrading our room without any extra cost. Bangkok is a place with great things to see and visit!

The staff at the hotel were great! I booked for 2 nights but extended my stay because of the kindness of the staff and great location. You can ask for a free 5 mile drop off using the hotel's tuk tuk. I will be back! The food stalls directly across from the hotel are great!
