O apartamento estava sujo, com restos sobre os lençóis, sem cobertas e com o interfone quebrado. Ao me dirigir para a recepção fui informado que a camareira faria a limpeza imediatamente. Após 1:30h de espera, incomunicável, tive que descer novamente e somente após uma grande confusão na recepção fui transferido de quarto.

The room was disgusting! Very dirty... bedbugs and bugs in the shower.. I complain to the front desk about the bedbugs and the bugs in the shower… They move my room… The second room they gave me still had bugs in the shower on the ceiling, the refrigerator was plugged in but the cooling coil‘s that makes refrigerator cold were taken out of the refrigerator so basically the fridge raider was useless. I made complaints about the second room I called hotels.com for help hotels.com decide to call them and tell them that I checked out which was untrue. I told hotels.com that I want a new room .. and after all this complaining nothing was done. And then at check out… This is my favorite part… They tell me that I owe them an extra money … Because hotels.com price their room to low .… I will never book a hotel.com again I will never stay at this hotel again , worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life

The location around the property is full of graffiti. The hotel is always crowded and 1 out of 3 elevators are working. The beds themselves are old and the mattresses are shaped like a hammock because of their use and age. There were no snacks provided in the supposed snack bar in the room, not even water available. There is no onsite parking, so it was very difficult and stressful to be dealing with this issue whilst trying to check-in. Overall, I will not stay in this hotel again.

1. Two elevators out of three were broken for more than half of my stay. 2. Refrigerator was broken during my entire stay in the room. 3. Staff do not follow COVID safety protocol. Not wearing masks or changing gloves during cleanups. 4. EXTREMELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL SUPERVISOR. Made derogatory remarks about my guest's physical appearance in front of 20 something people waiting in reception. Entire time he was screaming. He also asked me for 100 reals. If my guest does not stay overnight why do you ask for money?? Then when I point out all the problems in his hotel, he tried to return the money. Which I refused to take back anyways. The Supervisor also told me if I dont like his hotel why do I stay in his establishment??? Really thats what you say to a paying guest? I Checked out of the hotel same night and booked my rest of the 4 nights stay with another hotel. VERY RUDE. 5. Their payment processing system does not even work properly in the reception. They are forcing people to use their in house ATM, so they can extract more money from people during check out. Terrible. The only negative experience I had in my entire 8 days trip was from this hotel.

Me gusto la Cercanía a los lunares turístico. No me gustó: Pedí la Factura y nunca me la enviaron. Al llegar la Habs no estaba bien limpia. El personal debe ser más empático. Cobran por tenerte el equipaje. Pedí una sabana adicional y no me llevaron.

The hotel is good including the service, however i paid for a room with a king size bed but was informed there wasn't such thing. And instead it was given me a bed with 2 single mattress put together. I'm not sure if the mistake was caused by Hotels.com or by the hotel.

O Hotel está sem manutenção. Toalhas manchadas, com odor desagradável logo no primeiro uso, quarto com painel da cama descascando, box do banheiro quebrado. Além da falta de expertise dos profissionais em tratar os clientes (chegam a ser grosseiros) e organizar filas. Isso mesmo, há filas dentro do hotel para o café da manhã, para o check-in, para o elevador, para o check-out, mas não se preocupe, pois ao reclamar irá ouvir do atendente Israel: "bem-vindo ao Rio". Não sei qual o padrão de hotel no Rio os atuais gestores do espaço querem ofertar, mas estão conseguindo despencar com a qualidade e satisfação dos clientes.

The hotel was in a decent area of Lapa near many bars and Restaurants. It was an easy walk to the Stairs and other interesting spots. I would not classify the neighborhood this hotel is located in as family friendly. I was not pleased with how the hotel handled early checkin and baggage storage. I’m probably just spoiled as a western tourist but I expect early checkin and baggage storage to be free if the have the availability. Granted, the fees weren’t very much (R$50 for early checkin, and R$5 for each bag to store), but it should be a courtesy for paying guests. Lastly, they need to turn on the lights in their hallways.
