Katari Hotel At Plaza de Armas

It was super. Nieves was a great host and the night crew as well. We enjoyed breakfast, with the excellent view. Keep up the good work.

A little expensive for South America, although Peru is more expensive than other countries. Great room, a little annoyed I had to move because of booking halfway through. Right on the square, a great place to people watch.

Great location! In the middle of the city. Walking distance from restaurants, bars, shopping, and sightseeing.

Great location, staff, and rooftop view. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Only thing that wasn’t great was the water temperature in the bathroom. It was warm, not hot.

Our family stayed at Katari Hotel and Casa Andina. Katari is lovely in that each room is different and unique. We stayed on the 4th floor king suite with jetted tub. It was lovely. We loved the deep tub and the spectacular views from the roof. We were there in the rainy season. and they had some leaking issues our floor but luckily not in our suite.We liked it better than Casa Andina.

We stayed at the Katari hotel for 2 nights. We had 2 different rooms (different room categories for the two nights) The first night was fine, the hotel is well located, has a great terrace where you can grab breakfast/drinks dinner and staff is courteous The second night we were shifted to another room on the same floor (Room no. 405). We had disturbed sleep and thought we had been bitten by mosquitos but after a day or two the bites seemed far more sinister and upon checking were found to be bed bug bites :( It’s been a few days but the bites are still very very itchy. Stay at your own risk.

Terrace with terrific view of main plaza - breakfast, drinks, dinner

Great hotel right on the plaza with a roof top restaurant with magnificent views of the main square and the mountains. Centrally locates. Easy to walk anywhere. Beds were and super comfortable

Great view, wonderful spot to watch the sunset on the roof terrace. Wonderful location. Great hot showers! Very friendly and helpful staff.

Although the view from rooftop and location are excellent. Also staff are good. Unfortunately as all the other complaints from other guests, it is very noisy. You hear everything. The bath was absolutely disgusting, cracked, chipped and mould. This room was sold to me as a "jetted spa bath" but that was not true, also that my room would overlook the courtyard .... well the courtyard is actually more like a mine shaft where all the noise from the terrace echoes down, and you can see directly into the room next door, so blinds have to be closed for privacy.
