Prodigy Santos Dumont

Muito deplorável conhecer o prodigy antes e agora! Chegamos as 23 horas com 3 malas via táxi. Tivemos que ir na recepção onde se encontravam dois moços, para pedir ajuda com a bagagem. Nenhum dos dois se ofereceu a ajudar-nos a mim e a minha filha, apenas nos entregaram o trolley do hotel para levar as bagagens que levamos nós mesmo para o quarto. No quarto não havia papel higiênico e mesmo depois de 3 chamadas a recepção, o papel só nos foi entregue as 10 da manhã do dia seguinte. O box do chuveiro estava imundo! O café da manhã ainda que bem abastecido com grande variedade não tinha espaço para sentar, as mesas estando quase todas ocupadas por o pessoal de Aerolinhas. Esperamos aprox 14 minutos e fomos levados a uma mesa suja com restos do café da manhã de outras pessoas que foram apenas tiradas, sem a mesa ser higienizada, fato que pedimos para ser corrigido imediatamente. O hotel virou um hotel para companhias aéreas mas não para hospedar hóspedes em geral pelo meu ver, muito diferente do prodigy que conheci um tempo atrás!

I had two different experiences while checking in, with two different staff members. One was great, excellent at all levels. The other one was a nightmare with the free gift of disdain and some attitude. He really did not care at all. No compassion within that soul. I have no words to describe how professional and ethical Alex has been. His etiquette and politeness was second to none. He has been a white glove from the start to the end. Very polite and well mannered and efficient. He deserves a golden key. On my check out, two nice and polite ladies were also very friendly with nice warming smiles. On the contrary, I am really confused about this specific unfriendly, arrogant and petulant staff member can be working at any hotel or in Hospitality as a whole. I think he might have never gotten the essence of it. A total lack of luster and caliber. Maybe a sad person with a pitiful attitude, I may say. Treated me with scorn. I should wish him luck in his endeavors, may he find happiness one day.

O café da manhã no roof top é sensacional! Dá vontade de ficar um tempão desgastando o excelente café da manhã, com muitas variedades.

View was great, complementary breakfast was okay. Staff relatively friendly and knowledgeable. Room was good, but had a mildew smell to it. I imagine at some point the building received water damage which is still partially under repair as of this posting.

Had 1 towel in the room, ask for more and never came. Bathroom dirty

This stay was just ok, nothing more. This once great service property is going down as I guess they are used to the clientele, so they make no longer any extra effort to keep the good service standards, at least this has been my impression after staying there the 5th or 6th time. No Expedia VIP services offered, not even acknowledged. No upgrade. The interior rooms are not convenient and noisy. Check in was slow. It definitely doesn't meet international standards for the price they are asking. Staff appeared to be friendly though. Minor deterioration of the interior is noticeable. I requested a wake up call which was received and confirmed. No one called. This is disappointing and I find it very irresponsible and unprofessional at an airport hotel. I could have missed my flight. I have no more trust in the service of this hotel. Although the location is convenient and the pool/view is gorgeous, I probably would stay elsewhere next time.

fourth time i have stayed here & standards have dropped slightly as i think the hotel tends to cater for very short stay customers mainly from within the airline industry
