Illa Hotel

The people from the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Our room was confortable with heater and hot water. The breakfast buffet is pretty good and tasty. The mate de Coca really helped us with the altitude and it’s nice to have it on each floor!

The location is perfect and we love the look and decor of the hotel. The food in the restaurant was really good, and the staff is super friendly.

We stayed at Illa on 3 different dates during our trip to Peru because we used it as our basecamp for Machu Picchu and Jungle visits. So our impression is for 3 stay. Our room had heating, which is a must because Cusco is cold in winter Excellent customer service Very good breakfast Hotel is very clean overall, only a smell of kerosen in the bathroom of our 2nd stay. No big issue as we kept bathroom door closed. Hotel is updated, particularly bathroom that are very nice Used the laundry service and it was cheap and100% ok

This hotel is amazing!! Room is super simple but the shower was so fancy! It had three sheer heads! The courtyard is gorgeous and the staff have been so helpful. Pablo took ten minutes to explain different things to do around the city. The breakfast is also lovely. The neighborhood is perfect also. Close to the plaza and had so much character and charm..

Charming small hotel. Tucked away near the main plaza but on a quiet street. Beautiful exotic wood detailing of balconies, etc. Tasty buffet breakfast with fresh squeezed juices, fruits, breads. Cheeses and meats. Will make eggs per request. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Hooked us up with a private tour guide, Alfredo who was wonderful! My only complaint is there was not enough storage space to unpack (3 twin room) and I pretty much lived out of my suitcase.

Great shower and overall room. The location and breakfast was great too! The only issue was that the restroom toilet was not properly cleaned when we got there

Great location in San Blas. Semi helpful staff. Breakfast sucks. Any activity of other guests in the courtyard is very loud. If you stay here I recommend Estonio and Manolo for breakfast, for your coffee and a great vibe. It’s just down the street from Illa.

Located in the historic section of Cusco - just steps fro San Blas plaza. Location was perfect; 5 minute walk to some of best restaurants and historic sites. Great boutique hotel with lots of old world charm, yet rooms are completely restored and modern. We stayed in two different rooms as we left to go to Machu Picchu and returned. First category was Superior Room - which for the small incremental cost is by far worth it! Staff couldn’t have been nicer nor more helpful. Stored our luggage when we left and it was waiting for us in our new room upon our return.

Great location with old world charm. all of the rooms still had "old" feel but completely modernized with marble tiled floors and showers, deluxe water jets in the shower, and pedestal sinks with plenty of storage

The hotel is split into 2 courtyards - the old hotel at the front and the newer part of the hotel at the rear. The front courtyard is a 2 story building while the rear is a 4 story building. Both are lovely but the rear rooms are quieter as they are away from reception.
