As soon as we walked in the room we noticed there was clothing left behind from the previous guest. There was a used towel hanging in the restroom and found a used bandage rolled up in a towel. When told person at front desk about the situation, she went to room picked up the left behind clothes and boots and excused herself on behalf of the housekeeping personnel. I did tell her I’m sorry was not good enough, especially being in the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic. This is the time when they should clean better than ever.
Checked into a room that wasn't cleaned, towels and linens from previous customers, trash in the room. Staff didn't seem concerned, after a few minutes they "found" a clean room of the size and type we paid for. Communication skills lacking. Toilet ran all night, shower stall was really dirty, and there was a broken towel rack just hanging off the wall. Bed was super hard and the pillows were pretty gross and lumpy. Seems like they just have one person there at the desk and maybe one day time cleaning person. Usually have much better experience at La Quinta hotels. Hopefully this is pandemic-related and not the standard here.

Awful stay for first checkin to checkout. Over charged once for orgunal xharhe 144.00 and another xharge for 186.00 both charhes still on my account days aftet vheck out. Want a refund! Hotel sheets/comforter stained and not clean. Try to call from room... NO PHONE IN ROOM!!! Madr front desk aware of phone and bedding did nothing about it. Mentioned to two different front desk clerks..still Nothing was done about it. Have pictures to show. Have bank statement to show the overcharge called hotel they couldn't rxplain the overcharge. And lastly my son left his vlass ring behind he remembered exactly where he left it... called immediately as soon as he realized called hotel to yell them we would pay for shipping. Told them exactly where ring was.. for them to call us once they found it.. They never called. When we finally got to our new destination. I called they lady said yeah we fidnt find anything. And hung up. We have used hotels for years with up to ZERO COMPLAINTS! THIS WAS NOT LA Quinta standards by any means. Expect a call from hotels or the property manager. The whole stay was unacceptable!!! Many complaints and upset customers we saw while we stayed this weekend.
So upon arrival i do have to say the lady working the front desk was very helpful but after she left it went down fast. the room was not freshly cleaned had musty smells in both rooms one room had dirty socks that did not belong to us. we left a jacket in one of the closets and i called after leaving and front desk said they would check and i never received call. i called the next day and front desk claims he went into our room that still had NOT been cleaned to check for jacket and claims he didnt find jacket which we hung in closet ourselves but that he found a blanket. mind you this blanket was not ours we didnt have any extra blankets with us. i told him are you sure you checked room 201 and he stated yes but there is no way since we did not have a blanket like that with us. Also trash bins located outside hotel and inside by elevators were always full and overflowing. we witnessed staff arguing with customer about placing trash on floor and customer argued back that trash should never get this bad.. needless to say our stay was not good and we will not be staying at this location when back in college station.
Great place to stay. Room was clean. Need to review pet policy. Room next to us and the room across the hall had dogs. The bigger dog kept hitting the wall then the smaller dog would bark. The longest barking session was about 30 minutes and I was very tired. I will stay again but will check to see if pets are in the room close to me.

Our shower leaked from the top of the plumbing the shower curtain had mildew the bathroom ceiling was peeling the bed was hard and sheets had been washed to the point they had built up lint the staff was friendly and the room was clean besides the bathroom
We did not get to the hotel until 11:15 pm on 12/7/2020 but the lady at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. Our room was located on the front of the hotel and was not able to close our curtain complete, asking for another room the sweet lady up front went and check out two rooms to make sure they were available, during this we were able to get the curtain closed. Wish I knew her name but extremely sweet and helpful, If going back to College Station will chose the hotel for sure.
The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable but the ac was set at 62 in 45-50 degree weather, a little too chilly, good news is the heater works!! We weren't too happy to hear that the sack breakfast was no longer being served after 9am (it's a muffin, fruit & a drink, not like there was anything to keep warm or for them to cook). Our fault that we left something in the fridge that had never been opened but when we finally noticed a little over an hour later & called to check on it we were told that the room had already been cleaned & it is their policy to throw away anything in the fridge. The clerk was not very convincing or sympathetic.
