Hotel Harrington

Generally good stay. No individual climate control so it was a bit warm.

Very dirty and smelly hotel

All went well. Location/price very good for DC. Older hotel but kept up to date. This is 3rd stay at this hotel and will stay again.

This hotel is really old.. The elevator has a distinct (not so good) smell and there is no adjustment of the AC from your room. You will have to inform the lobby of the temp inside your room so they can adjust accordingly. (Which of course, doesn't really help). But nobody can deny the fact that its location cannot be beaten. So, it's all about location, location, location! Shops, restaurants, bars, museums, even the White House is just 3 blocks away. The bar and restaurant is just on the ground floor. Starbucks is just across the street. So, not so much good to say about the hotel but I must say, this where we will stay again when we go back to DC because of.. yup! its location!

Historic hotel, which was cool. Room was better than thought. We had 2 rooms and 2 baths for 2 queens. I loved that. The other person had space. The king room had a living room. Great!

What we liked was the very comfortable beds and pillows we had. We both slept very well. We also liked the cleanliness of the room and hotel. We also liked the setup of the other bedroom with two twin beds with a rolling door/ separator. What we did not like was that although we had been told that there was parking at the hotel . . . when we got there (weekend), we were told that we could park at a certain parking lot but that there was nobody there to take our money because it was the weekend . . . We did not feel it was safe to leave our car there for fear of it being towed. The good thing is that because of COVID, we were able to park for free anywhere in the city where there was a parking meter. The bad thing is that it took us a long time to finally find a parking space and that it was a couple of blocks away from the hotel. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

The room was not good it smelled like pee the hallway smelled the same way and there are things that were posted on the website that was not true and we were told that they were supposed to be microwaves and like that in the rooms and there was none. they told us that we could have a different room in the other room smell worse than the room that we were in. And they charge those for two nights and we just stayed for one night because we couldn't take the smell of the place.

It was wonderful

The location was convenient with many restaurants and tourist attractions nearby. The hotel was great for the price and the staff was friendly.

The staff was nice and courteous. They don't have parking you have to park on the street for overnight parking or walk two blocks to a public garage. There is a couple bars make it very loud all night long. It is the city though. All in all it was nice affordable place to stay in Heart of the City
