Hotel Marbella

This was a really great hotel to stay at, but: 1) the wifi really doesn’t work 2) the shower was little better than trying to wash yourself with a hose 3) no fridge (marginal, but in a hot country, it’s nice to be able to have cold water etc) Otherwise it was a perfect stay! But if you want wifi - and who doesn’t when travelling? - then you’ll be pretty frustrated here.

Great and fast service, room an bathrooms always cleaned, great location close to everything! :)

Quite adequate and comfortable. No outside option for the evening except for a walled-off area outside the dining room. WiFi reception was terrible and nothing changed after I complained about it 3 times.

Excellent Customer Service, room was very clean with nice bathroom, and comfortable bed and pillows; loved the mirrors at bathroom door and vanity/sink area, it was a great stay!

The room i got was so far away from what i saw in the picture. The bathroom was so uncomfortable that i could not fit in the toilet's space

It was a great experience from beginning to end. The staff was super attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous. The room was just what we needed for a short stay and within walking distance of several great restaurants.

It's difficult to rate this hotel because what they offered was all good. However, it's what they didn't offer that made our stay less comfortable. We were surprised that there was no mini fridge in the room. We stayed a total of 11 nights and we were there during my husband's birthday. I had bought a bottle of champagne to celebrate but I had no way of chilling the bottle. I asked for an ice bucket but they couldn't provide one so I bought an inexpensive popcorn bucket to do the trick. I then asked for ice but they couldn't provide that either so I went across the street to OXXO to purchase a bag. Lastly, I asked to borrow wine glasses or champagne flutes and again, the answer was no. There is no complimentary coffee or tea service, either in the room or in the lobby. The gym is available 24/7 but it's always locked. You need to contact the front desk to get someone to open the door each time you want to use the gym. On the positive side, we thought the location was excellent, across the street from the metro and central to everywhere we wanted to go. Roma Norte and the neighborhood next to it, Condesa, are lively and teeming with restaurants.
