Wonderful stay! The hotel is gorgeous, ans righr across the street from the beach. Bed was super comfy and room was nice and clean. Room also has an air purifier, which is great niw with COVID. they have a stunning 360 rooftop bar that gives amazing views of the ocean. Would defintely stay here again! (Our dog loved it too! They havw pet treats in the front, which gladly chomped on)
Cool vibe, very nice amenities in the room (including an air filtration machine & sleep machine). The rooftop area needs some attention but the view of sunset is amazing!
Stay was ok, hotel overall was unique in style. I notice cleanliness more since covid 19. Overall clean, some doors to stairs ways had dirty stains on them near handle area. The room was clean which was great but pillows were flat and bed was hard not for a good night sleep, adjoining room people were so loud had to request move to another room. Room overall was good. Pool furniture had stains on it. Roof top was nice area but closed probably due to high winds.
It was ok, but not what we expected.
I was impressed with the air purification system in the room, including the ultraviolet light. This was reassuring with the current situation with Covid. Unfortunately, I saw many of the housekeeping staff on our floor not wearing masks or their mask was hanging under their chin. Sometimes they would pull them up when they would see a quest, but that really defeats the purpose as they would have been breathing into the air around them for periods of time with no mask. Then we would have to walk through that space. So this made us feel less safe once entered the hallway. Disappointing.

I choose this hotel on the looks and the atmosphere it portrayed. We wanted to stay somewhere high classed for our anniversary, nice view and room service etc. so we splurged on a higher priced hotel. We arrived to an elegant building and welcomed by wonderful valet staff. They instructed us on how to check in and everything. Front desk was friendly and welcomed us as well. The suite wasn’t as expected, the walls are thin, very little WOW factor, come to find out that one of the double vanity sinks doesn’t drain, the shower heads were rusty and weak. We only had two bath towels and two hand towels. It was quite dusty. I saw when reserving the hotel that it provided room service but actually it was only the restaurant attached to the hotel and you had to go downstairs and order and bring back up. The amenities listed on the check in paper given to us listed Aromatherapy in the rooms and I didn’t see anything. The ironing board and the iron were BOTH broken. There was also an adjoining door access with a single door (usually two doors on top of each other.) The staff, and restaurant and rooftop were great; I was just underwhelming with the quality of our room. I paid a lot for 2 night stay and was just upset that it didn’t feel worth it. I could have stayed at The Don Caser for this price.
Their reservation system was down at the time of check in due to an earlier power outage and we were told to wait in the lobby for an undefined period of time. To make matters worse, the reservation was booked as an Expedia Gold member and there were zero perks offered in this regard. Not even a welcome beverage to offset the unplanned for wait. The room keycards also never worked. We had to check with front desk constantly to get inside the rooms if we left. Why list as an Expedia VIP property if you’re not living up to that expectation?
No spa limited room cleaning.Didn’t provide any type of upgrade. When asked about service front desk wasn’t very helpful.
The hotel was very clean, decor was very nice, staff was awesome. Only booked a 1 night getaway but we look forward to returning soon.
