DAMAC Maison Mall Street

This has been the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life! Amazing views of the burj khalifa and spacious suites with very cute decorations and a full size kitchen! Will definitely stay here again

At a five star hotel you'd expect at least clean bed sheets, however the bed sheets were used with human hair and the pillows had stains, I had to call room service twice to change them after 30 min of wait, TV not working properly, called room service twice about it but no one showed up. I'd give it 1 star.

I like the location is very close to the mall. Shuttle bus is always on time very friendly people.

We (2 adults and 6yr old child) only had 2 nights at the property when flying through but found it to be great. The only thing that annoyed me was the lifts which take forever. The hotel has self contained apartments, our one bedroom apartment had 2 toilets a shower, bath, a fully stocked kitchen, and a decent sized lounge. Staff were great bringing up extra pieces when we needed (towels, detergent for washing machine etc) , the 24hr in house dining was a god send on the first night when we just needed food and even catered for allergies. There is a small convenience store literally across the road and around the corner and there is a bakery opposite. Dubai mall even with the construction work is 12minutes walk away (Google maps). We used this to entertain our little one as you have the fountain display, aquarium, food court with soft play area, cinema and most importantly for them Kidzania. All in the shadows of the world's tallest building and ringed by a plethora of bars and restaurants. The mall has free WiFi if you need that to explore. The hotel also has a small climbing frame and play area by the pool which has a small paddling pool, main pool and hot tub. Unfortunately due to buildings now surrounding it all you see are apartments from the pool, still in Feb it was warm enough to go for a swim at 7pm. There is a spa and a fully equipped gym on the same floor as the pool, whilst we had a look we did not go in. This was a great location for exploring downtown

The property amenities are exactly as they say, but look nothing like what a normal hotel looks like. The reception is a tiny hole with two people scuttling and took us 30 mins for check in. The breakfast has very few vegetarian options even though we requested for more. The drive into the hotel is probably the most obscure i have ever seen. Room was clean but a King/ Queen bed is never two single beds joint together by a linen sheet on top. Almost felt like we would fall through the middle at times and had to sleep on separate corners. Staff was extremely courteous but I am certain to opt for another property for my next visit. The walk to The Dubai Mall was extremely confusing as we had to walk through the mall parking lot drive in and was just not worth the hassle.

The appartment was spacious, cclean, quite, and well furnished. However, the matresses were uncomfortable and pillows were down with no other choice. If the bedding were diffident I would come agan because of the location and staff were great.

Good hotel and apartment, have shuttel transfare to Dubai Mall.

Staff curtesy and helpfulness is outstanding! Price is good and the hotel is in easy walking distance to the Dubai Mall and Burge Khalifa!
