Seaside Oceanfront Inn

It was a great relaxing stay, in the middle of this pandemic , most stuff was shut down, but we were able to relax and enjoy our room with a great view of the ocean.

Everything was great!!

No soap No Kleenex Dirty rug, our white Sox turned black walking around No coffee, just empty kuerig I don’t think this was about virus

Arrived during a strong storm hoping to enjoy fireplace and jetted tub. Maintenance could not keep pilot light on so no fire for our ronantic trip. Jetted tub fits only one. Room is small and crowded; very dated. No closet. No privacy on 2nd floor with windows open. Water flooded in thru window and soaked the rug. Must leave room to use a public microwave. Manager discount for non working fireplace was $11.00. She said the storm isnt her fault. Storms are the norm on the coast so non working FP must also be the norm. What a joke. Never saw cleaning staff with masks. Hotel restaurant closed thru 2021, but we knew that in advance. Not recommending unless you are desperate for a room.

Let's start with almost no parking, them move on to actual keys for which you have to sign a $150.00 "lost key" waiver. These old-fashioned keys fit into a rusting, dinged-up door with a loose doorknob. I was greeted by a very odd smell. Still not sure what the smell was. There was a huge, ugly air conditioner on the floor with a hose headed out the window, a sagging shelf that looked like it was ready to fall of the wall under the TV. There were four remotes on top of the "fireplace", which didn't work, the A/C remote didn't work and one of the remotes operated the TV which kept displaying "there is a problem with your connection". The walls were very dinged up and scratched, the bathroom had a pile of hair noticeable if you closed the door, which I what guests do when using the toilet. The carpet was very dirty and bleached(?) in places.

The check in staff was horrible and deceiving over phone. I called to reserve a SPA tub but when I got to room it was Jetted tub. The staff said they are same thing which obviously is not. I asked to speak to manger but he said manager on vacation. I asked to speak to hotel owner but he said they are out of town. The hotel staff kept making excuses and lies. I had to pay extra $50 to get bigger SPA which I could talk to any manager. This is not what I expected and I will not stay here ever.

It’s a nice place. The view of the ocean was awesome. Although for the price we were a little disappointed in the condition of the room. Seems very outdated. Things need to be updated/replaced. The bed was big but seemed like an older bed as well as the bedding. Stained carpet, broken tiles in bathroom. The pictures on the Website are little misleading in my opinion... But! the staff was great. The location is great. Hopefully they update their rooms in the near future (as I noticed in the reviews I’m not the only one who feels this way). The stay was nice but when it comes to the room I am very neutral. Some good. some bad.

The room was dirty booked a non pet friendly room was given a room full of dog hair on the couch and bed Booked room with ocean view and the view was block by a tree

Went just for the night with my daughter and the room was nice , only thing was the parking was small but we got there in good time.
