Faraona Grand Hotel

Great older hotel but really good. Reminded us of Casablanca hotel. The staff was excellent - the piano player wonderful, doormen where super helpful and the bartender was GREAT!! He even wrote down the Pisco Sour recipe for me. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Very safe area, centre of town. Lots of restaurants on the street and neighbourhood. Shopping - a little walk to the beach but beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel good price and felt very comfortable for 6 days. Would stay again for sure!

It was clean, simple, good personal. Nothing to dislike

The real measure of hotel's quality is more in its people, and service. While structure of this hotel is not a 5-star Waldorf Astoria, the service, and people are absolutely 5-star. This is my second time staying here, and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. In fact, rather than moving hotels during my visit, I extended my stay twice. Faraona Grand feels more like home than a hotel. Again, it's the people; they make you feel comfortable, and relaxed. I see them more as friends than staff. My future has more travel to Lima, and given a choice I look forward to staying at Faraona Grand before any other hotel in the city.

Everything was good, nice location, clean, comfortable beds, private parking (I had a rental), the staff tried to answer my questions and help. The only down side was that I asked the night before at what time breakfast was cause I was leaving early in the morning, my departure time was 30 minutes before breakfast started, supposedly coffee was going to be available, but not even that. In general very good, would stay again.

We really liked this hotel! Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, very good breakfast and excellent location. The street has many nice bars and restaurants and is walking distance to many sights. Live piano music in the evenings was an added bonus.

Wonderful stay, convenient location, great breakfast, comfortable and spacious room and super helpful staff. Huayna, was especially warm and welcoming and took the time to explain the local transportation to us and even lent us a metro card for the day so we didn’t have to buy one ourselves, just for one trip into the city. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. Thank you Huayna and Faraona hotel staff for your hospitality.

This was a great way to begin my trip in Lima. This hotel definitely stands out and is easy to find. The staff were all friendly and they had very comfortable beds with nice sheets and so many pillows. The hotel was also in a great part of Miraflores and it was very easy to access food and various places of interest in the city.

The location is perfect. Bars and restaurants are on the same street. Adjacent to hotel are bar visited by many Americans and Europeans. The stuff were great and super friendly.
