Rizzan Sea-Park Hotel Tancha-Bay

Overall we enjoyed our stay although only one restaurant was working and it is a bit boring to eat at the same place every day. I was not happy that the guard at the beach asked me and my baby to move away from the parasol area even though they were no guests around whatsoever. The manners of this guy was not good as well. We were just playing at the sand. He just said that the area is paid area and it is prohibited to stay there. When I replied that there are zero guests and no one is around he said many people will come. But no one came. Anyway my kids enjoyed the stay as there are many attractions for kids. Recommended for families with kids.

Very good and refreshing. Especially with kids this is the place to fully enjoy in Okinawa

The rooms obviously need renovation. The cleaning was awful: they didn’t clean balcony at all. We ordered 2 twin beds but they gave us 2 single beds, so we had to pay extra money for 3rd bed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are awful. It is not because the choice is small. It is because they are absolutely the same every day. Can you imagine how it is to eat 7 days the same dishes when the choice of dishes is small by itself?

Everything was amazing except for the bed, which I found very uncomfortable (hard).

The rooms were good size but smelt quite bad, like mildew. A lot of the restaurants in the hotel were closed except the buffet. Breakfast was included but we had to pay for dinner buffet, and it was very expensive, and the food was not great. No entertainment, band, show, etc. The pool was nice but not great. The beach is kid of small, there were water activities, but pricey. We checked out early. Not worth the price.

The hotel is outdated, the rooms smells, the beds are extremely uncomfortable and TINY, lastly the food was overpriced. We didn’t like the fact that there is no place to eat if you get to the hotel after the buffet is closed. I wouldn’t recommend it. The only nice thing was the beach and that is just nature, not the hotel.

The only restaurant open and service I received caused me to check out early. Discrimination against non-Asian customers. First night had buffet. Great selection, great view. My friend was directed away from the alcohol selection when we wanted to have wine. We left it up to miscommunication as we don’t speak much Japanese and the man didn’t speak English. Breakfast: great breakfast but we were looked at constantly by the guests. It was uncomfortable and I don’t blame the service for this. Dinner: This is where we got fed up. We decided on the BBQ option outside. When we were sat at our table we were left there for about 15 minutes. It caused confusion as other costumers were getting food from the non buffet side and maybe thought it was self serve? Went inside but there’s not any meat so we had to flag down someone to serve us. The waiter was gracious and apologized. We went inside to grab sides and drinks and when we came back our food was already served. Great! No worries. Then, we attempted to start our BBQ even while other customers’ BBQ is lit when they are initially placed at their table. Our BBQ wouldn’t start and wait staff noticed our struggle and helped. Turns out our BBQ was broken. It was fixed and we eventually ate the bland/non seasoned meat. Please understand this was very embarrassing as other customers are watching our struggle the whole time. We checked out an hour later. It left a bad taste on our stay. Fantastic massage spa.

The hotel feels well cared for and is in a great location with a beautiful beach.
