Ideal. Just what we needed. Great place to escape from routine of life and relax and eat and drink. Perfect location Friendly staff Great menu

We stayed one night visiting relatives,the room was ok but beds and decor were tired the shower didn't work well , The Hotel specialises in weddings so if you want a quiet stay you may struggle especially w/ends, the staff were nice food was good .

Nice surrounding countryside. Bedroom hallway far too hot for time of year. Nicely cooked breakfast but door didn't open at 7am at advertised 07-7.30 chosen time.

Stayed here on 1 night for business with a group of colleagues. After arriving relatively late we had to check in at the main bar as no one was on reception but this was no issue. The room allocated to myself was great with double bed and plenty of space, however the rooms allocated to my colleagues were more basic and a little tired so I was disappointed with these for the price paid. Running water was a challenge with pressure low but wifi reception was good. The food in the bar was great and good quality although breakfast was a little limited for choice and one of my colleagues selected a yogurt from the buffet area which was out of date so not great. Garden areas were lovely and staff friendly
