The Dukes Head Hotel

Lovely, freshly refurbished room. Really good value for one night.

parking should be included in the hotel charge and not taken up by cleaning staff. In the extension of the original building, where alot of the facilities aren't working as well and the hotel has made a discount maybe the complimentry tray should not be available, then they wouldn't have a system where they check the contents indiscreetly and you notice the receptionists under pressure to do this unnecessary act. From a very observant person. I did notice the better things that were provided as well eg. towels, shower , tv functions, key card worked.

I enjoyed my stay

Excellent room except that was impossible to charge a mobile phone in the bedroom. Some utter madness had impelled them to install round pin sockets not seen since the 1950s. This meant having to get out of bed to know the time, to answer calls and ruined what could have been a good night's sleep.

Myself and my 11yr old daughter spent 4 nights at the Dukes Head hotel whilst visiting my eldest daughter who lives in Kings Lynn. The hotel is lovely very clean. The rooms are lovely and the staff can’t do enough for you. The reception staff were lovely, helpful and very welcoming at all times. The staff in the bar were also very friendly and welcoming. On the whole we had a lovely stay and would certainly recommend this hotel.
