Red Lion Inn & Suites Eugene

Never stay here ! It’s so gross! Hallways stairwells look they have seen a vacuum! I booked a room with a jetted tub. I check into the room. No jetted tub and worse yet the room stinks so bad ! I never took off my mask and the urine smell made my eyes water ! Went to three front desk told them of the urine and no jetted tub. The said all the jetted tubs were out is service!

Check in was easy but once we got to the room it went downhill. The shower curtain rod was broken, the phone didn't work and there was a collapsed spot on the bed about where your shoulder goes and someone smoking in the next room. Told the front desk and they seemed to not really care. Will NOT go back!!

The first room we were given looked as though it had been stripped of amenities including the phone. There was also what appeared to be blood stains on the bed spread. We were given another room with a door that looked like it had been kicked it. - the lock was broken and without using the electronic key we were able to just jimmy open the door. By the time we got to the 3rd room we were exhausted. When my husband spoke with the front desk, the girl stated the were “going through renovations” 🙁 Also i tried to watch the news in the morning and had an error message on the tv telling me to call comcast (did they not pay the bill?!?) We will not be staying here again. It was a nightmare.

Having a tub with jets next to the bed was great! Sink in the bathroom was broke though, and for some reason the tv was not in high definition. Black out curtains on window was great if only it was two inches longer, let in a bunch of light.

Great customer service, 3 of 4 lights missing in the bathroom and light fixture close to falling off the wall, bolt missing on toilet seat causing it to slide (dangerous), items on the floor that should have been picked up and/or vacuumed. Comfortable beds!

The hotel is run down. The front doors don’t open so we had to physically pull them open. The first room they gave us was not clean. They sent us to a second room that had bugs in the carpet. Go somewhere else!

This place is always clean and the people are so nice. Our flight got in early, and they were very accomodating to us with an early check in.

The hotel is new but still doing construction.The night guy was a interesting type,He parked his skull covered car right in front of the front door of the hotel in the handicapped parking(no handicapped card or sticker on his car).They had to move me as the 1st rooms tv didn't work.The second room had painters tape on the ceiling and the air filter to the ac/heat was broken and partially stuck out of the unit so not filtering,gross!.Again there was a night manager and the parking is right out front of the office so despite that fact 2 cars windows were smashed out and robbed.How the night manager didn't see or hear that absolutely baffles me unless he was sleeping on the job or something.I actually was the one to point the smashed windows out to him as I noticed them returning from coffee.The nice breakfast I was promised by both the hotel and on the hotels.com site was not there at all I assume because of covid but no one mentioned that to me so another huge deal as I would have chosen a different hotel or asked for a discounted price..Over all,4 or 5 out of 10.
