Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waller - Prairie View, an IHG Hotel

The hotel is clean and our room was nice. The bed however was horrible. The mattress was hard and had a huge dip/hole right in the middle of the bed. Not comfortable at all. Very disappointed. Holiday inn beds are usually really comfortable.

Shower wasn't hot just warm. I asked them to look into first day but nothing changed. Breakfast was bananas, cereal, instant oatmeal, yogurt or muffins duevto covid. Seems they are using it to keep cost down instead of offering a pre-made warm breakfast. It was decent.

Hotel was fine , except our carpet in room and hall must have recently gotten wet. The was a dehumidifier in the hall and the carpet had an old musty wet carpet smell. Room 303

I reserved two rooms with double Queens. One room had bed bugs when we inspected the beds. So they gave us another room which had no bed bugs. Was not impressed with the bathrooms, the shower heads need to be cleaned and the paint around the edges was chipping off and had a discoloration. Normally Holiday Inn Express are well maintained hotels but this one was below average conditioned.

The first night the Ac went out but they were able to move us to a new room at 1 am. The handle on the bathroom in the next room didn’t hold the door closed which was a minor inconvenience. Kids loved the pool and the fitness room was good.

Front desk staff was attentive and very professional. Dora made the process easy. Very sanitary and comfortable from desk to room.

Hello, very upset because I was charged for a 1 night stay along with my 2 night stay, I stayed 2 nights. The associate told me since I booked with Expedia they needed to handle it. Expedia told me they spoke with the associate and was told the hotel would not refund my money because it was a no show. I modified my reservation from a 1 night stay to a 2 night stay. I updated my reservation within the parameters of the date to make changes. I couldn’t believe this happened as this is the hotel I’ve been staying in since June 2018 every since my daughter had been attended college. Very upset about this incidence.

The hotel was great very clean the only problem I had was the WiFi connection I never got my computer to connect, I stayed on the phone with tech support for over 45 minutes and still didn’t connect,even my phone wouldn’t connect. Other than that the stay was great. Cell phone reception in all areas of town was weak
