Rhodes Bay Hotel & Spa

Staff amazing ! Great location! Minor issues not enough sun beds probably due to distancing but everyone gets up early and save beds! Men having to wear trousers at dinner should be smart trousers as ripped jeans against smart tailored shorts doesn’t make sense ! Apart from that overall smashing hotel as I said staff are exceptional!

We enjoyed staying here for a week all inclusive. The food was very good and the staff were always helpful polite and smiling under their masks. The place was clean and the hotel itself was on the main road to Rhodes town about a 10 minute drive away in a taxi. The bus stops outside the hotel if you prefer to use this for a small one way charge each time. The access to the beach is via a subway and the beach is pebbly with sand a little further out into the water so bring beach shoes. The 2 pools that were open to us in regular bungalows were not heated but as it was September it wasn’t too bad but the sea was warmer. It is mandatory to wear masks in the lifts and foyer but it appears some guests wether they are staying or visiting for a wedding cannot read and do not wear them without any challenge from staff. The quietest pool is on the 11th floor and the noisiest with swim up bar is on the ground floor - the waterfall feature and road proximity as well as music being played made me stay away. The A La Carte restaurant was ok but could only book once a stay ( even if for 2 weeks) and has separate menus for those all inclusive and those not. All in all it was a good place to stay but not 5 star luxury. The rooms are tired and dated ( but very clean) - and the king size bed we had was comfy. The aircon worked well and was quiet- I am not one to return to the same hotel unless something spectacular- so wouldn’t stay again. We are going back to Rhodes as it’s lovely.

The Deluxe Room is very small with a miniature shower and a view of the woods and trees. Also the room cleanliness was not done and did not vacuum bed linen for the 6 days we stayed at the hotel.

This hotel didn't quite live up to expectations. Busy and impersonal reception which seemed to be all about filling in registration forms, including supplying rather too many details about our credit card! Room was ok - not very big, but clean and comfortable at least. No idea what was going on with the carpet in the corridor though! Terrible design! Breakfast buffet was nice but overall, our stay felt very overpriced for what was on offer, especially as we had spent the previous few days at another hotel which was vastly superior and a bit cheaper. It lacks some nice finishing touches that are the mark of a great hotel.

Very well-presented property with good facilities. Only tihng I'd change is to provide a better a la carte lunch & dinner offer for all-inclusive guests.

Service was 1st class friendly staff and great food and looked after us and our baby girl
