Eurostars Magnificent Mile, previously Dana Hotel

The hotel was nice but I didn’t like how they didn’t have they own parking garage. I also didn’t like how I do understand a lot of fraudulent things are going on but they only except cards with chip so it was a big inconvenience to switch money from one card to another plus they didn’t give me my deposit back with my refund in full

It was great walking in it’s beautiful and the room was nice and clean would stay again.

By far the worst stay. I booked a room here based on some reviews and the photos of the hotel. I have to say the room was NOTHING like the photos online. The room was dirty it had the a very bad smell almost like a roach spray or some time of pesticide spray. I asked to be moved and was given another room which was a bit better because it didn’t smell like the first one. The second room was in terrible condition though the bathroom had mold and the glass was tagged. Ugh! I was so disappointed. I had stayed downtown in other hotels never had these issues and never been in a room or hotel that feels like a motel. By all means avoid staying here. Sad they need to do a major upgrade of all their rooms.

I had been here when it was previously known as Dana Hotel and Spa and loved it! So when I knew we was coming back I knew I needed to stay here again. Unfortunately I do not feel that way anymore. The hotel definitely needs to be updated, the floors had stains as soon as you walked in, and the hallways was so strong with weed smells. Thankfully the rooms did not smell but once the doors open the smell would just flood the room. Toilet seat had stains on them, carpet had stains, and curtains had stains. Shower was nice along with mirror and towels, bed was comfortable and clean. The windows was nice and large to over look the city. You could NOT use the fridge in the room and no microwave, they no longer offer vallet parking, they did have spots to park next to hotel but it was $49 a night and could Not come and go. Police was constantly up and down the streets with sirens going off so you definitely didn’t feel safe. Overall I do not recommend staying here especially if you have kids. And for the price this hotel should be much more nicer!!

Really disappointed! This is my fave hotel. When I checked in, it was extremely slow. When I went to my room, there was loud music playing from another room, and the smell of marajuana, so I was a little upset. When I entered my room to try to relax, the remote was missing from the room, the hotel sent someone up to drop off a new remote but The tv signal was out, so I couldn’t watch anything. When I went to the bathroom, the cold water was out. During my entire stay the cold water didn’t work, so I used extremely hot water, unfortunately. The toliet had a loud humming sound after you flushed for at least 10 mins. The windows in the room were dirty, and had hand prints all over. I was extremely disappointed with my stay!

We went out for a couples weekend, dinner and a stay in Downtown Chicago. Checking in was easy. Once we got to the elevator, we smelled the stench of marijuana. The room was fairly clean. We noticed the bed did not have a mattress pad and there weren’t any face towels in the room. Room service did provide after a call. We also noticed a large group having a party . We enquired about the guest. I understand COVID , but I wasn’t too impressed.

I was a little upset to have to spend so much money on a so called high end hotel and to my surprise no microwave in the room and I had to pay a lot for parking there was n o discounts. The showers smelled like mold and seen mold growning on tiles and in the grout. My husband did not like the bed he said it was very uncomfortable. I found a cigarette lighter under the sofa bed and this was supposed to be a smoke free room. Would I stay there again maybe if the bars open up again there was nothing to do in the hotel that's to covid. The pictures are way nicer online then when you walk into the hotels.

The only thing I didn’t like about the hotel is that they don’t provide parking. Other than that, too notch for couples. And there should have been 2 robes!

Good location for area activities. The room was ok. Quaint and unique, but no windows and just a city view balcony. The view was awesome though! Karen was very friendly for checking in and providing recommendations for food.
