Select Hotel Hamburg Nord

I have stayed at the Select many times over the years for business. The staff has ALWAYS been super helpful and friendly. Every morning I'm greeted at breakfast by the same employee who is very pleasant (wish I knew her name!) Happy they have updated the bathrooms but don't care for the new shower design since water splashes throughout the bathroom (though I know it is common in the EU). Rooms a clean as can be for a hotel and bed are comfy enough. I just wish they would include some things that are standard in other hotels, i.e. washcloths, iron (and when you ask for an iron it is not available b/c 10 other people asked for one and they only have 2 - unless you paid extra for a room that has an iron?) But overall, always happy to stay here. Oh, the food in the restaurant is pretty decent too!

Only there for 12 hours as close to airport for our flight home next day. Asked for a wake up call, but didn’t get it. Otherwise all was good.

Hotel really nice and not far from airport but for getting transport around the city it is no good as unless you want to walk 20 minutes you have to get a taxi and me my dad and friend got ripped off by most drivers. Please beware should you visit but hotel itself I have no complaints we didn’t have breakfast as it was 15€ per person per night

I would choose this hotel when I visit Hamburg again. The coffee maker is just great, refilling would have been even better if it was complementary. Additional charge for car parking is kind of shallow I think although it was cheap i. e. 5€/d

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff very polite and friendly. Location was good because we needed to be close to the airport
