Boutique Hotel La Cantera

The hotel itself is quite rustic and charming. I definitely think it looks better in person than in photos but the true star of the experience is the staff who were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and considerate throughout our stay. Betiana helped us the most but they were all great and we had a wonderful stay in Patagonia thanks to the staff here. They also offer a shuttle/evening taxi service to the main part of town which is only a 10-20 minute walk depending on where you want to go. The only complaint I have is that the room itself was a bit musty and dry. I was mostly fine but woke up at times hot and allergies flared up from time to time.

Good views and great staff - very helpful staff especially when we extended our visit by an extra day. Rooms are big and spotlessly clean. Only drawback is there are stairs up to reception making the carrying of heavy luggage a little tricky. Well worth staying at this hotel especially for the price we paid in late April.

Overall we thought the hotel was nice. Although the view is good, the location is slightly inconvenient. A bit further out of town and then expected with road construction going on around it (and barking dogs outside our room one night). That said, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. The breakfast is very tasty with lots of choices, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Nice view, delicious breakfast, comfortable stay. Few outlets in room. Decor needs some updates. Decent bed. Good value. Walking distance from town. Nice view of Lake Argentina (upper rooms were much better than lower).

The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. WiFi is good. They could use some updating. There is a long and steep set of stairs leading to property. It is about a 15 minute walk to downtown. They do offer a shuttle service at night. Overall a nice and comfortable place.

Nice and original hotel, that made me feel in Austria! Very polite and helpfull. The hotel has been through some rough seasons and the stair broke while the driver carried my lugage down.

Lovely property but lack amenity in the rooms, like fan. etc Excellent breakfast. lovely staff. Surroundings are very poor, dirt roads, maybe they are still developing the area. thanks Panna

All good and friendly service. Had some difficulty lowering the heat in the room.
