Sandos Caracol Eco Resort - All Inclusive

Great hotel, really big and with a lot of amenities

The resort smelled all around, the employees are not nice, except Monserrat she is just awesome!! The food over all is really bad especially the buffet.. wife and I ate pizza everyday and hamburgers because its just bad.. I would never stay there again!

They need better beds and accommodations for their guest. The rooms are outdated. The food was not good! Will not stay there again.

No me gusto las piscinas, los caminos sucios, peste de animales domésticos, lo que ofrecieron en el paquete de todo incluido no es cierto de todos los restaurantes solo habren dos y es por reservación en mas de 2 ocaciones tuvimos que salir a cenar a la calle por no tener la reserva,solo uno de bufet y es lo mismo y no es seguro todo el mundo toca los utensilios para servirse,los cuartos qué reservamos eran solo para adultos y nos dieron unos en áreas de familias con bunk bed dentro del cuarto y bien lejo de todo,teniamos que pagar propinas para que nos recogieran y nos llevaran al cuarto todos los dias,el restante mexicano maracas esta cerrado solo lo usan los empleados, la disco cerrada,hay fotografos en la playa que te tiran fotos y luego te quieren cobral como $150.00 por paquetes de 30 fotos electronicas si estan en un grupo te las separan y cobral mas no caigan en su trampas y el hotel permite eso en sus playas y vendedores de todo tipo hasta drogas.otra cosa no pidan langosta en el restaurante Riviera por que salen endeudado como $100 dolares por colita y mal cocinadas.Lo bueno es que conocimos a jose un empleado de los lirios que nos sirvio con mucha profecionaidad le recomiendo ese restauran los demas nada de bueno.

The photos of the resort are exactly how the resort looks! The resort has a lot of activities to offer and most are free. The resort itself is like adventuring into a jungle! I wish there were guided hiking tours through the resort so you would not miss any of the hidden trails. Unfortunately, I travelled during COVID-19 pandemic so some of the free activities were not available. However, they did not do much promoting and talking about the free activities that are available. There is a lot of pressure to purchase activities such as spa treatments. I could not go a half hour at the main pool enjoying the sun without being asked to undergo a spa treatment. They will find you sunbathing on the beach too and pressure you. There is also no mention of the high mosquito population at this resort. Due to it's great nature jungle environment mosquitoes are present in high numbers. Bring lots of OFF!

The resort is nice and very clean.. the staff is very friendly ,and always willing to help.. the food is HORRIBLE!! The buffet they put a mix of items in the same container all mixed in, without even labels, so you don’t know what anything is.. the restaurants a la carte are also horrible. My kids could never eat pizza there, cause they put like an orange sauce in it and the cheese doesn’t even taste like it.. The beach is full of rocks, you can’t even go in the water without scratching yourself..definitely not going back!!

I enjoyed the property very much. Plenty of activities and enjoyment to be taken in all around. I enjoyed the wildlife and the beach! The staff was always helpful and cheerful. The buffet area was kept clean and organized. The food in the buffet was good but after a week of the same options, a little change during the week might have been nice. I only went to 2 restaurants on the property. I did not enjoy the Italian restaurant but the Japanese restaurant was a delight. I would recommend this resort to my friends and family.

we had a great experience at Sandos. The water park was one of our favorite amenities. the service was excellent, the hotel was super.

Unsatisfactory service accommodation! Would not repeat stay. Rooms are out dated. Non-smoking room smelled like cigarette.

Had an amazing time. Staff and restaurants supreme quality. A paradise.
