Good hotel, good area... Happy with the stay..

Very modern, clean and in good position for access to Valletta

We had a balcony overlooking the sea fantastic view of valletta room cleaned daily good breakfast 5 mins to ferry and the bars and restaurants are all around the hotel some building work going on opposite shouldnt take long to complete would definitely stay again.

I’ve spent six days in 115 The Strand hotel and suites. Check-in was very quick and informative where the administrator said i was able to use wellness center, the restaurants near the lobby and one on the 9th floor. The cleaning was good except for the first time when the cleaners forgot to lock the balcony door (neighbor balcony is connected to mine). Breakfasts were pretty good. Fresh fruits and veggies, several types of salami and ham, cheese, muesli, toasts, tea, coffee, water, juices and some sweet stuff. Everything was great until the morning I was checking out. I decided to have last breakfast at the restaurant on the 9th floor, to enjoy the view from the top floor, but the bartender asked me to leave because I wasn’t allowed to be there. That was embarrassing. He didn’t explain anything just said I had to leave and grabbed my plate with some food on it. I still don’t know why I could use that top floor restaurant but I’m sure I’d never come back to that place again. My room was good, clean, but the service was disappointing.

Location was good. Room was large enough. View from the balcony over the bay was amazing.

Cheap and cheerful with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel appears to be undertaking renovation room-by-room which is a little disconcerting (closed lifts etc) but didn't impact on my stay. The hotel is good value. The aircon is locked, so i couldn't cool the room to my preferred (low) temperature, but i can understand that this impacts on the hotel costs, I would have been happy to pay extra for a cooler room. Can't fault at this price.

This hotel was great. Amazing breakfast with something for everyone. The interior of the hotel was very glam however there were renovations still going on, didn’t bother us as every hotel needs it if you want it to work great. Very polite and helpful staff. Great and comfortable rooms. Still constructions going on in front of the hotel could be a bit loud for some if they want to sleep in, depending on where your room is. Overall, we had an excellent stay! Can’t wait to come back ☺️
