Comfort Inn & Suites Beachfront

I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My room was good but I had two rooms and the 2nd one did have problems. The commode would not flush and the stopper in the sink was stuck.

Bedroom smelled for hours of cleaning fluid. Made it difficult to even sleep Bed was comfortable

Hot Water took 30 minutes to come on. Some of the lights didn’t work in the room and the room was stale smelling. It was nice to have a porch and the breakfast area was very nice and inviting.

1st room smelled strong of mildew like it had been flooded. Refrigerator was shut off and looked as though it hadn't been on or cleaned in a month. And I killed 1 tiny little baby roach on the TV stand. To the Hotels credit, I was not able to find any more roaches or even any traces of roaches. And I looked everywhere, even up on the underside of the cabinets,desks, and drawers. I explained my issue to the front desk and lady was very nice and apologetic. Moved to another room on 3rd floor and also smelled like mildew but not nearly as bad. Room was much cleaner, fridge clean and working, and not a single trace of any roaches anywhere, and I looked with a "fine tooth comb". Water pressure was also sub par, but I didn't expect much as almost all hotel water pressure is sub par. Also had to have keys replaced that wouldn't work. 2nd set keys didn't work either. Waited for a maintenance man to return to the hotel in the evening Saturday night. New keys worked for him. For the extra cost of the room due to the Rally, should expect more for the money.

The room was large enough and bed was comfortable however, when I threw back the comforter I found a dark hair on bed sheet. In the morning I encountered a tiny roach in bathroom sink. The furniture is old, chipped, and scratched. The breakfast was good but I doubt that I would return to this hotel.
