Chanalai Garden Resort, Kata Beach

The hotel staff was really amazing and accommodating. The area was nice but very touristy. Great for relaxing on the beach or doing tours in other parts of the city. If I had to nitpick I would say the WiFi is very slow so be prepared. However, overall the room was very clean, staff was amazing, and the area is great for relaxing on the beach.

Mattress is hard and in front of our room is a big tree blocking the view

The walk up so many steps were exhausting....the food here was great....very helpful workers....the elevators had a horrible mildew smell. As if the ppl from the pool water has been soaking in them gray rug things

The hotel has very nice view, i would recommend you to choose seaview room. The beach is just simply cross the road and walk for 200 meters

our stay at the chanalai was overall a good stay, its exactly what it says on the tin. Its a 2 minute walk from the beach, the staff work tirelessly and the service is excellent from everyone. We was welcomed with little ice creams and a cold face cloth and after a 20 hour journey was very much appreciated. the guys took our suitcase to and from our rooms, also very much appreciated. the gardens are tidy and lovley to look at. breakfast was 200 baht each and not amazing, plenty of choice but some of it didnt look to appetizing however the egg station was spot on. theres 7 buildings to the hotel so alot of steps, its abit like a maze when you first arrive. we had a superior room which was in good modern condition and had a partial view of the sea, the other rooms with sea views looked very much worth the extra.
