Hotel Dona Palace

Great hotel located very close to many of the main sights in Venice. Wonderful rooms.

Hotel location was superb, right on the beach. Staff was very nice and friendly. Top roof was beautiful, great sunset views. Great experience overall!

Omg. Venice. We took a water taxi direct to the hotel steps. I couldn’t have asked for a more quintessential spot. Steps from St. Marks square, I could have stayed here for days. They offered tea time which was a nice amenity before heading out for an evening of exploring. An authentic Italian breakfast to end our stay and cap off an excellent trip. Ciao!

Hotel was only 5 minutes walk from St Marks Sq and the water bus stop. Room was reasonable size by Venice standards but wardrobe space a bit limited. Good selection at buffet breakfast, good coffee. Hotel staff friendly.

I loved the location, breakfast were good and all staff I encountered were professional and discrete. Would recommend and would stay here again.

Venice has always been my dream destination, so when we arrived at this hotel I couldn't be more excited! Sitting right on a canal with a garden bar (with steps leading down to the canal) it was a beautiful (and private) location to sit down after a long day and have a drink next to the canals. Our room was not ready upon arrival but it was only a 20 minute wait so no problem! When we recieved the keys a young man brought us to our room and showed us how to work the lights/lock the door ect. Little details like that really made our experience so much better! The room itself was beautiful, a very large, comfortable bed with a beautiful bathroom. The shower was amazing, and our view (even though not of the canal) was still great (we could see the top of Saint Mark's Basilica. Breakfast was beautiful the next day, the three waiters were very attentive and the selection of food and drinks was very impressive. The area itself was amazing, extremely close to St Mark's Square but the area of San Marco isn't very big itself, so it wasn't a very long walk from one side to the other. There were lots of little restaurants and bars around the hotel, and a main street with many restaurants and eateries just around the corner. There is literally nothing I can complain about in terms of this hotel. It was amazing!

It was excellent experience staying in this hotel. Beautiful property with garden next to the canal. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices of food and polite staff. The junior room is small but the bed is very comfortable. Definitely will stay in this property, which is locates a block to San Marco plaza .

I travel extensively and I was pleasantly surprised by the Dona Palace hotel. It was clean and safe and the location was amazing, steps from St Marks square. The front desk staff were super helpful in every way and the daily breakfast was amazing . I will not hesitate to stay there again upon my return to Venice.

The room was nicely appointed and spacious. The hotel is what we expected from having viewed the pictures and read the reviews prior to our stay. The location on a canal was perfect...far enough away from the grand canal so as to not be overwhelmed by the daily aqua alta. The staff, in every capacity, were awesome.
