Crowne Plaza Fort Myers

Disappointing. The hotel overall is very old and clearly has not been remodeled for decades. But I am not a snob so could let that slide. However, when I got to my room the door was pretty gross and worn out as were the carpets leading to it and then when I got into my room it had an odd smell. I cannot say for sure it was mildew but that is what came to mind. The thing that really pushed it over the edge was when I went to the bathroom there were 2 cockroaches running around the floor.

Front seat and team was very good. Waitress the first night was not friendly, all waitresses was slower then a turtle. Found out the restaurant bills added gratuity on the bill on the last day. I had been tipping not knowing this. The wait staff never earned 20% that was automatically added to bill let alone what I left. . Poorest service ever!

Lobby was good.. Room was good.. D Bar was a little dated and dark..

Great hotel in the best location in Ft Myers on the perimeter of the Bell Tower Shopping plaza .. close to everything, I was on the 5th floor so don’t know if all room have been renovated but the one I was in was just lovely .. the staff is so friendly and accommodating.. huge parking lot free self park and would accommodate a camper or larger vehicle.. great stay love this hotel

Overall a nice stay for the weekend Good made to order breakfast. A larger selection would be better. But no complaints The hard pillows were big and firm. But there also were 2 softer ones

It was super nice, the breakfast was fantastic beds comfortable! Rooms should be a bit cleaner but other then that great stay will be back!

The hotel was clean and staff nice, but the air conditioning is way out of date and the unit in my room went from sounding slightly loud when turning on around 9pm, to sounding like a kettle blowing its top as loudly as it could for several minutes at 2am, and then it proceeded to get louder each time it turned on after that. When I complained to the manager at the desk in the morning, she said she couldn’t discount what I’d paid because it was booked through a third party and only after I asked did she offer a free future night (to which she only gave me her business card so we’ll see if that actually works when I call to book it). She said I should’ve called when it happened in the middle of the night; well I’m sorry, I didn’t think it’d continue to get worse after it wasn’t even a problem when I’d fallen asleep.. and waking up to pack up my stuff, put clothes on, have to interact with another human and move rooms at 2am wasn’t my first thought or choice after being woken up to a loud screaming noise, plus I would’ve then been wide awake after having to get up and move around... I’m going to try them a 2nd time, but all the reviews that say the 3rd floor rooms have AC issues are 100% correct.

It was great! Price was right pool was very nice. Hotel is older but overall great quality.

Disappointed. Pictures hide the small size and poor condition of the hotel. One of the two elevators needs to be repaired and recertified.
