Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo

Nice products in the room (Granado from Brasil). Very high water pressure in the sinks and shower. Highly recommend acai bowl and pancakes for room service breakfast. Lobby is also nice, but no general store in case you forget something. Seems like lots of business travelers stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Grand Hyatt during the carnival holidays. Check-in was fast and everyone was very attentive and helpful. Our room was on the 19th floor and had everything we needed. They provided a rollaway bed for our 4-year old, the only opportunity for improvement would have been to provide some children-friendly toiletries for the families with young kids, but I am not sure Granado makes any of that kind. Lavender soap and shampoo we had in our room was quite nice though. Cocktail offerings at the lounge were very good, but we did not like the breakfast selection that was offered there: very few options, cold scrambled eggs and no fruits (other than some pre-cut salad) to our daughter's disappointment. Breakfast in the main restaurant was an option, but in our opinion was a little overpriced at 87 reais per person and 45 for a child, so we chose to get breakfast some place else instead. Our room (1907) was a bit dated, sliding door to the bathroom was broken and TV was not working properly, which was fixed only after we complained repeatedly. But we enjoyed the stunning view over the bridge and luxurious bedding. Bathtub is also hard to find in Brazil and everyone really loved it. The highlight of the hotel according to our daughter was an indoor swimming pool that we enjoyed daily. We used room service once for dinner, but the picanha burger was a huge disappointment- dry and overpriced. Overall we had a pleasant stay and I highly recommend this hotel.

Great stay

Nice Granada bath products, low water pressure on rain shower, but it was high on the other faucets. Liked the linens, but thought the bed was firm. Room service pancakes (with creme anglaise) and açaí bowl with bananas were delicious. Nice fejoada for Sunday lunch at the restaurant too.

Hotel cleaning service accidentally broke my laptop computer and took no responsibility. They also had the clock in my room wrong by almost an hour causing me to be late for my meeting as I was unaware of the hour timezone change.
