Best Western Tallahassee-Downtown Inn & Suites

Staff at check-in not so friendly. Bedspread on beds looks like they hadn’t been cleaned in months and could not walk on carpet with bare feet as it felt disgusting! Had to call front desk on my cell phone as phone in room didn’t work or the A/C unit. Glad our stay was for only one night!!!

We liked the location—just off a busy street, and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The bathroom is a bit dingy and in need of some renovation. The wi-fi was spotty.

Well we drove late night because we had a 3 year old. And checked in fine. As soon as we get to room. Of course we all need to pee. Well go to bathroom and not any toilet paper!!! Then she went to office and they didn't have any so anyway I woke up early and got some. Dirt on floor in front of door and candy under bed.

The room was very nice and clean. The owners and staff were very friendly. There was a black male staff member with dreads who was very nasty asking if we had a room and constantly followed us on the property. The snack bags are a nice gesture although the breakfast normally served is greatly missed. The vending machine only worked on about half the items. There were numerous prostitutes and drug dealers all night long walking the property and even asking if we needed their services. Our clothes were stolen from the dryer as well.

The bed and pillows were very comfy!! I’ve stayed here several times and the staff is always very nice. It’s also always quiet. The hotel itself needs some updating, especially the carpet. The lobby is updated nicely. I will stay here again.

Wasn’t very good

We know these are difficult times and because this the hotels must be more clean than ever. This hotel was very very dirty, we even tried to change the room to stay but the second room was dirty also. We decided to leave! And there are prowlers walking on the premises and on the forest near, another concern you have to think about if you decide stay there.

Just kind of old and run down. Grab and go breakfast bags were all done at 9 sharp, no one on the night shift at check-in advised us.

Cockroaches greeted us at the doorway entry and left with one in our cooler! Disgusting! Floor was dirty had to use a towel to brush them off before getting into the horrible bed with ridiculous pillows. The musty odor along with that dampness of the room was just horrible. Had to buy a candle and burn it the whole night to mask the odor and be able to fall asleep! Was here for three nights 3 years ago during Irma and it was fine. Downhill drastically!

This place was not clean. The air inside the room was stuffy & humid with moist carpet. Just felt cold & damp. My sheets were not clean & had to purchase sheets to sleep on & cover up with my own blankets & use my own towels. Very uncomfortable stay, even for the price. All other hotels & air bnb were booked & i needed a last minute place to stay.
