Hotel Real Orto Botanico

Very comfortable and in a good location.

The hotel was a bit tired the walls in the rooms were scruffy and scuffed some of the furniture was broken and tired. It needs some TLC. saying that the rooms were clean, the sheets as well. Beds made each day and the toilet facilities clean and tidy. Food at breakfast buffet good with lots of choice. Staff friendly. Mostly other Italians staying not British tourists. For the price the hotel is rather good, but if you are looking for a real nice room and luxury its not that, but it's pretty good and value wise outstanding really. Close to airport and close to old city, a good location. I would stay again if I ever go to Naples again.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room. The place was very run down lots of items broken. The hotel is next to a petrol station so the hotel smells of petrol fumes. The breakfast was very poor and lots of meat was off. I would rate this hotel a 1star. The staff was excellent.

If you are looking for 5 star service at a 4 star hotel this is not the place for you. This hotel is in the heart of Naples and it's easily accessible to the bus line and close to the train station, also it is only15 minutes from the airport which is nice when you're looking to get around. This hotel was rated 4 stars when I did the my research but it is more 3 stars because the paint is stripping, the waiting area needs a new couch, and the entry needs a makeover. The building is old which was nice but the shower was extremely small and while it was clear that it was clean, it was not scrubbed so there was aged old dirt on the corners of the shower door. The pillows were a poor excuse and need to be changed and it was loud late at night (which was the fault of other inconsiderate guests not the hotel). The breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about and the picture they show of the hotel looks nothing like that. It does not look as bright and cheery from the outside like the image. Overall, I did like that the hotel was clean, the customer service was okay; not the worst I've had but not close to the best either.

Poor cleaning service. Floors, shower dirty. Towels not refreshed.

The hotel has a superb location just far enough away from the Central Station to be quiet but a short walk to major attractions like the Archeological Museum. The rooms are simple and comfortable. The public areas are great by boutique hotel standards -- landscaped roof garden with panoramic views and a good perspective for fireworks over the harbor. The TV room and library is very classy. The breakfast was more than generous --unlimited portions from three buffets. Very clean, but almost clean like a hospital. HOWEVER, I would never stay in one of the rooms facing Via Foria because it is the main ambulance route to the central hospital. My room on the other side of the hotel was quiet all the time.

A good location and on a busy road, the room had air-conditioning which we needed with the window closed at night. Lovely crisp sheets, good breakfast, great staff always helpful and friendly, and a fantastic fish restaurant next door.

They gave me very bad room.Small window . More mosqutios bite me ten-eleven times. My body more injured. I never go this hotel again

Wonderfully helpful staff: gave directions and help with buses to places we wanted to visit. Buffet breakfast was great. Position of hotel great for walking to major sites. Although we had a room overlooking busy Via Foria the triple shutters were soundproof. Air conditioning was excellent relief from 35 degrees outside
