AmericInn by Wyndham Fargo West Acres

This was the biggest disappointment in a motel I have ever experienced not to mention I paid for my rooms on hotels.com but had to give my card for pet and they devoted my card over 500 more dollars. I would never wish for anyone to stay in this dump. Breakfast room was so poor very disorganized no tables and chairs matched looked like they had been to many garage sales or auctions to buy stuff. Only allowed 2 towels ask for more next day only 2 more yuck yuck yuck

Took my daughter for a staycation. She absolutely loved swimming. It was nice.

First floor room was freezing. I turned the heat up to 90 to get it warm enough. Youth hockey group running the hallways all evening and again at 7 am. Front desk showed no interest in putting a stop to it. Next tie I'll ask at check in, if their are kids all over the place. You take the group sale and screw everyone else.

There were red stains all over our room from the carpet to the shower curtain to the light switch...kind of gross. Other places around the sink area didn’t seem clean either. The water running out of the faucet was gray, so that was a little alarming. No breakfast due to pandemic...just coffee that everyone touched to get...how is that any different? They weren’t trying to keep that area sanitized. There was hardly ever anyone at the front desk so whoever wanted to walk in the door could. It was uncomfortable. I watched a lady walk in alone that definitely resembled a stripper. There seemed to be a lot of odd people situations around there. It made my husband and I think it could be a sex trafficking hot spot. (Maybe not, but plenty of red flags) There was a lady in the pool area from 2:00 when we got there until 9:00 at night when she was asked to go to her room because she was making a bunch of the guests/children nervous being strung out on some kind of drug. The pool area never had enough towels. They were constantly washing them to get some back on the shelf for the next people. There were tears in our bed sheets. That’s an easy fix people. If they’re that old, it’s time to replace them We will probably never stay their again.

Our stay was adequate. The bed and pillows were comfortable. It was pet friendly and we had no issues to complain about. My only complaint is that the prices were too high considering the was no breakfast and you could not use the pool. It seems like the prices should have been lower without those services.

Room wasn't properly cleaned and the staff were apathetic towards the issues.

Dirty. Run down. Foreign owned and ran? Ghetto garden being grown in the back. Mattress or 2 laying outside in the back. Went there for pool but it was shut down and they never said anything. Checked in by lady who didn’t even look at me. Cleaners had alcohol on their cleaning cart. STAY AWAY from this place.

While the hotel is what I would consider just “okay” it was not the nicest AmericInn that we’ve stayed in. The room was comfortable but there were things in the room that needed up keeping. Seems like any time we went to the front desk, no one was there or if we saw them they were in a side room on there phones. They shut down breakfast due to COVID with no notice to the guests as well.
