Excellent service and great staff
Very attentive to service and cleanliness. Will definitely revisit property
The hotel was over capacity for a time during a pandemic and not all guests were wearing masks when walking around the hotel. Food was not that great and didn't have much variety. Miscommunication between the staff and my requests were frequent. The best service I got was from the bartenders they were very attentive when enjoying a drink around the bar. The best dinner we had was at the Italian restaurant with excellent food and service. Room service was a hit and miss, sometimes they would answer other times the front dest will have to transfer the call, but the food delivery to the room was always fast and friendly. When asking for towels to the room those never received or a couple of times the refrigerator was not stocked. I have stayed in this chain at San Jose del Cabo and had a great experience and I was expecting the same in Nuevo Vallarta but unfortunately it didn't happen.
the check in area was pure chaos. they gave us the wrong room, and when I came back down to show the check in agent my reservation, she said that is a picture of the ocean. I said I don't think I booked the ocean, I am trying to show you my reservation name and title of my room. Her supervisor came over and I think realized she made a mistake and put us in a filthy pool room with curtains splattered with mud. Also hair in the toilet, some old shorts on the chaise, no battery in the remote, and some weird glob on the floor with hair in it. We were now in our 3 rd room, which smells like mold, but was clean, and had curtains that were white! no hair in the beds! So we were happy although hesitant to go into the "private pool" that is a shared pool and not clear! I think there are a lot of kids in there. We tried to go to dinner, but you have to make a reservation. There are still buffets in COVID! We found a nice place with nice people marmot? good Mexican food. There were no QR codes in our room to tell us anything. How were we going to safely eat breakfast in a pandemic at a buffet? Where was the compensation for moving our rooms 3 times for their error? No bottle of champagne? no check in from the manager? the beach is beautiful, I just feel like they are not taking cleanliness seriously or customer service. This is definitely a kids resort, they are everywhere. I would not come back again. I do not feel like a safe and valued guest here.

The hotel was ok. I would probably not stay again as there are better hotels for the same price. Most the day was spent waiting in lines for food or booking reservations. They were not staffed for the amount of guests they had. Only had one towel in a room for 2 people and didn’t get another until the next day. The room smelt of cigarettes in the morning coming in from the vents. The shower has no door so it soaks the entire bathroom. Pros: it was clean and the pools were nice.
No information was shared during check in other than our room number. Food was the same everyday. You have to make a reservation for dinner for every night and that requires standing on a long line with concierge everyday. Overall hotel was okay.

Loved the resort, wonderful, beautiful views, helpful and pleasant staff, unlimited food and drinks... we would absolutely return.
The hotel rooms were clean and spacious. The workers helpful and polite. What it is really bad is: the FOOD and the lack of waiters. We were waiting for 35 minutes to get breakfast and what we got was very low standard of food. For 3 days Lunch was hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken wings and tostadas. Everything by the lowest standards. The Mexican restaurant offer Dinner with rancid cold meat, shell fish that will not open and sea food over cooked. Same with the meat. We asked for medium rare and it came well done. We felt mistreated and we really got the impression that the Chef wanted to mock us. Or, simply he don't care or know how to cook better. What a shame! That was horrible. In other hand, The Grill Restaurant was a nice experience. Another comment is: we report that our safe was not working, somebody came but did not fix it. No entertainment at all. No folklore, no Mariachi, no shows but a loud screaming voice at the pool in nap time, 2-3 pm. We travel a lot and compared with Cancun, this hotel should not charge even 50$ a day. In Cancun we had even a bar in our room, 7 different restaurant to choose, entertainment any single day, the Buffet was amazing and all food a la carte. This hotel it is stilling people money. NOT RECOMENDED.
