We stayed in the business rooms great size and excellent comfort. The breakfast is excellent so many things to choose from,if anybody says otherwise they have a problem,probably a mental one We had the light evening meal which was fabulous every night to be honest. Usually a soup with choice of breads,and something else we had rice or mash and a stew one night another was like a fish based dish and another was lasagna all very good indeed The staf are really good always smiling and a credit to the business and I mean every member of staff Well done to you all you do a great job and should be very proud

Very convenient location within a short walk to city attractions and transportation. Very quiet building also with modern rooms and excellent breakfast offering.

My wife, daughter and I spent a weekend at the Thon Hotel Cecil. Excellent location in the centre of Oslo, with easy walk to many of the main sites on the waterfront and around Karl Johan Gate. It was slightly tricky to find because the actual hotel entrance is on Rosenkrantz gate, just around the corner from the business address on Stortingsgata in case you are using a navigation system. Good access to public transportation, and many electric scooters can be picked up in the park in front of the Storting. It's about a 10 min walk to the nearest airport train station at the National Theatre, something to note if you are carrying heavy luggage. Our family room (for 3) was spacious and comfortable, including a large bathroom and sofa. The front desk staff was well-staffed, friendly and helpful, offering a packed breakfast for a 5am start. The regular breakfast selection was very good, although the seating area became quite crowded on the weekend. A wide selection of restaurants and cafes lie within a 5 min walk of the hotel. We had a very nice stay.

The property is very conveniently located to the waterfront, water taxi to the museums, the palace, shopping, opera house, and the overnight ferry to/from Copenhagen. Convenient = walking distance. Clean comfortable rooms. Very very good breakfast included. Dinner is also included but is more of a make-do affair. This hotel will be my first-choice for my next trip. Also a very good price.

I like that they serve warm meals for dinner It really helps especially when its raining and late my friends and i didnt need to bother looking for a place to eat

Desk attendants (particularly June) were extremely pleasant and helpful. We had assistance with printing tickets for fjord boat tour and procuring a taxi to airport at less cost than with Uber. Breakfast buffet was great, plus they had a complimentary lite supper buffet in the evening. After that we enjoyed tea on the 7th floor lounge overlooking the square.
