Mercure Hotel Berlin Tempelhof

All is perfect. I always book this hotel each time I travel to Berlin

Replacement of toilet articles very slow and stingy. No bar soap provided after the first day. No room makeup on the first day -- apparently you MUST put the "make up room" sign outside to have that service. Air con/heater was very noisy.

I liked the location and the size of the room. It’s a bit functional but in my opinion, well worth the money. HOWEVER, the fact that I could not even get a crust of bread after 11pm was annoying and in the subsequent night, not even at 10:45pm.

great service and staff!! offered me coffee and early check in.. after a narduous trip to get to berlin.

Nice hotel, just around the corner from a subway station and then two stops to the circle S-Bahn line, so super-convenient. Hermanstrasse is crowded with little kebab, pizza, and noodle shops. I didn't spend much time in the (very large) hotel room though. There were coffee capsules, a comfortable bed, plentiful hot water, and that was about all I needed. Only complaint was the wireless was down the last night I was there.

Lovely hotel the right location for us, set in mainly Turkish area of east Berlin great links to underground and buses, small independent bars and restaurants cheaper than the centre, great for vegan and vegetarians. Only slight moan- only 2 packets of coffee and not enough milk, but having a fridge in the room mean buying from the local store and keeping it in the room, breakfast was expensive but glorious

Good location, decent-sized room, easy check-in, good housekeeping.

I can't believe this is 4 star level. It was clean and neat but incredibly basic. The only light source in the bedroom were two low light lamps, great for mood lighting but kinda useless when you need some actual light. The breakfast I only had once as it was €20 and incredibly basic, even by Mercure standards, the dining area was clean and pleasant though, if a little cramped. The staff were friendly and polite but when there was an issue with my room (two singles instead of the double I booked) they kinda just shrugged and pushed the beds together and claimed there were no other doubles free during my 4 night stay. If you told me it was a 3 star I'd have been pleasantly surprised, but as it's supposed to be a 4 star it was pretty disappointing.

Everything since arrival has been perfect. I couldn’t be better pleased.

Whilst the hotel was fine albeit very outdated and the price reasonable, we were so disappointed with the service. We were made to feel unwelcome for our whole stay. In particular, we had the receptionist knocking on our door asking us to check out a day earlier than our departure day. When I told her we had booked and paid until the next day she just said she would go and check the reservation and then we did hear anything from her (or get an apology for asking us to check out). That day, both cards to our room stopped working and then another receptionist was so rude and blamed us for the card not working. I would not recommend this hotel.
