A lovely night away, staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. Hotel is clean and well kept, we will be back!

Covid precautions were evident. I felt safe. My room had a great view.

Lovely hotel in a spectacular setting right next to the canal. We were there to do some shopping at Cheshire Oaks which is literally minutes away. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The only problem we encountered was that the pool was closed due to 'unforeseen circumstances' which was disappointing.

Excellent hotel in quiet location . All areas and rooms spotless with good safety measures in place. Felt very comfortable. Breakfast superb with good choice on menu. Staff were so pleasant and friendly and couldn't do enough, especially ladies in restaurant.

The Hotel was clean, the staff went above and beyond even though they’re busier than ever with all the restrictions. Everything from clean pens to breakfast service was thought of. I would highly recommend staying here and this hotel will always be my go to place whenever I’m in the area. Thank you

Good stay on the whole. Staff were really friendly and helpful, we liked the location and the hotel was clean. Only thing for us is that the beds weren't that comfortable (especially the pull-out bed for our 3 year old)

We arrived too early for our stay and we were advised on places to visit in the area. When we returned, again too early for check in we went to the bar and had lunch. The young man at the bar was very attentive. The receptionist must have seen us return and came to the bar to find us to tell us that our room was ready. We finished our lunch and made our way to our room. The cleanliness of the room was wow, it was like nothing that we had ever seen before, well done Cath and her team. In the evening we used the hotel restaurant and were once again blown away by the service and the exceptional quality of the food. The following morning we had breakfast which was again very good quality but mine was lukewarm. The only minus that I can think of is that during the covid-19 pandemic, the hotel is clearly marked everywhere you go that social distancing is to be observed and also the wearing of face masks, unfortunately not all the guests adhered to this and I didn't once see a member of staff approach these people to remind them to wear them. I have to say that all in all we had a lovely stay at the Holiday Inn Ellesmere Port. Thanks everyone.
