SpringHill Suites by Marriott Convention Center/I-drive

For the price it was a pretty pleasant stay

We stayed for a week. The second day we came at 9pm to the Hotel tired after a day in Disney. We were about to enter the room and It did not open with the electronic key. We tried the other key and it did not work. We went to the main desk and the lady said It was most likely the keys to be magnetized. She gave me other two keys, I went to the room and again it didn't work. We were very tired and wanted to rest in our room and eat some of the food we had bought the day before. I went again to the main desk and the lady went with me to the room to try to open with the special key they have. It didn't work. Then She said She would call engineering and that they would come the next day, meaning we would have to wait until the next day to open the door. All our belongings were in the room. They gave us in the meantime another room while the door could be opened. The main desk changed shifts at 11pm and the other manager tried to open the door. He finally could open it by 1am, at which time He let me know I could get my belongings and move them to the other room. Anyways I had to stay up until 1am to get my belongings just because they couldn't open the door. They themselves told me to write a review and they would refund me that night.

We reserved 2 rooms. We got 2 handicap accessible rooms. Not very clean. No towels. Called front desk several times. Had to go in person after one hour to find out that no laundry was done.

I was a extremely disappointed because I chose this specific location because they had shuttle to parks. I called and looked at the site and was told they had. When I got there found out they didn't. Even though it still shows on their website. Breakfast was a little weak. The same person who check you in takes care of refiling breakfast area. Only one toaster for all guests. Everything else was good!

The hotel was hosting people participating in the dog show at the convention center. Something should have been put on the web site to this effect. I am allergic to dog hairs and I’ve had a headache ever since! The hotel smelled, the rooms were not clean and the beds were very uncomfortable! This was the worst hotel room I’ve stayed in. Won’t be back there ever!!!

For a Springhill Marriott, I would rate it as a day's inn with a Marriott name. Now we may just have gotten a crappy room. But the towel rack in the bathroom was falling off the wall. The HVAC unit in the room did not regulate the air very well as you had to keep switching from heat to ac. With so many hotels in the area, we will not be staying at this one again. Their hybrid breakest was a joke.

The only thing that I did not like is hotel.com said it was buffet breakfast but it was only bagels, cereal, and hot coffee. Not very happy with that!

staff was friendly and helpful. refrigerator was full of ice buildup and they brought a replacement as soon as we called. Front desk was helpful. She was very busy running front desk and breakfast area.

Great service and great room. However, the hotel seemed very unprepared for the complimentary breakfast in the morning. There was no coffee, no milk, no fruit, & no cereal. We understand there are limited services due to covid, but, we weren’t even sure if the breakfast was open. The lights weren’t even on in the seating area.
