Extended Stay America - Cleveland - Middleburg Heights

The place was spacious and nice. But saw 2 bugs in our room in the bathroom and had a brand new person working by himself on a weekend.

I stay often at extended stay in order to take my school tests in peace. The inside is awesome, and the staff is friendly and professional. However, the outside has no surveillance cameras and it is not safe. My friend, who is a contractor had his van broken into and they tried to steal it. Much to my chagrin, no cameras are on property!

The night clerk who checked us in was very friendly and helpful in making sure we had what we needed.

Everything was great, but there was a bug on one of the towels that I noticed the first day, but other than that everything else was clean.

Me and my husband were almost robbed in our room. We had to call the police from our room twice we moved rooms twice called the front desk and had no help.i had a mental break down and went to the hospital till the next day.my husband was so upset he argued with the hotel and got arrested. He just did 25 days in county jail and was released with no charge.. it was The worse stay ever. We will never stay there again.. we lost our money we paid and my husband lost his job,and with the pandemic I doubt he'll find one soon. We are looking for a room tonight but we are undecided on using your company again. Can you fix the situation. We are repeat customers and like you guys but we got the short end of the stick on this. Can you please convince me that your company is a good choice to use tonight and possibly tomorrow??

Hotel was very clean. Just a little bit of remodeling going on but it was still clean. Social distancing practices were in place. The room was real nice and relaxing. Front desk workers were really nice and helpful.

Bugs. Basically paid them to clean the room I stayed in.:had I been in a better frame of mind I would have split immediately. I havent seen worse hotels .

The staff was friendly and the room was clean. My only issue is that we didn’t have a trash can.

he air conditioner made so much noise that we almost left to go home at 2 am. Upon seeing our room, I said “I don’t like it here, let’s go somewhere else.” But we were already there. The grounds were dirty, cigarettes everywhere and trash. There were cops swarming the parking lot and watching the hotel from across the street, the night before we noticed what seemed like prostitution happening in the hotel. The place smelled like an apartment building, old food, cigarettes, and marijuana. I guess if it’s extended stay this is to be expected. Upon checking in, the cleaning lady was dropping f bombs and many other bombs even while addressing me. The back door is locked, a key won’t work. Someone tried to sell me drugs. We didn’t have a trash can anywhere in the room. We were only given half a roll of toilet paper. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, and the lobby was deceiving. I tried to take two showers there, and both were lukewarm at best. Regretful stay. I live in the same city, and wanted to retreat from my stay at home duties and my three kids. It’s a very safe city, I was disappointed in the clientele which I guess the hotel can’t help. Maybe if the rates were higher they’d avoid the kind of guests there. If you have children, please don’t bring them here. This felt very unsafe.
