This is a nice property to stay at with your family. It's nothing fancy but has everything you need for a family stay. Bedrooms, Kitchen, fridge, microwave, pots and pans and dishes. If you need a step up for a basic hotel room, this is a great option.

TownePlace Suites disappointed greatly

Our a/c unit didn't work properly and never went below 80 degrees during our stay. I requested a room change but they could not accommodate. I requested a portable fan, and they could not accommodate. The noise level from other guests was unacceptable. I was informed by the front desk that many people were there for a local college football game, and were holding watch parties in their rooms. Lots of loud music, talking and banging/stomping noises, and the fire alarm was set off in the middle of the night. There was NO management present or even due in over the weekend that could address any issues. Extremely disappointing!!

The air was completely out and it was SUPER HOT On the 3rd Floor after speaking to one of the workers it finally starts to work 3 hours before check out time , We stay here every visit to Tallahassee but this experience was Horrible !!!

Only one bathroom

Hotel.com listed my reservation as a two bedrooms and two bathrooms suite. When I checked in my suite had two bedrooms but only one bathroom. The customer service rep at the front desk told me all the suites on this property only have one bathroom. Other then that unfortunate misunderstanding my stay was pleasant. The employees were pleasant and helpful and the room was pleasingly clean and comfortable. I am likely to stay here again on my next visit to Tallahassee.

Our room was pretty nice and the beds and bathroom were clean and comfortable. However, there were a few problems. A bar of soap that was left for us in a small box in the bathroom, was wet and slimy when we opened it - obviously already used! That was the only soap in the room (none in the little kitchen either) so had to ask for more at the front desk. Also had to ask for bedding for the pull-out sofa bed, as there was none at all. A woman at the front desk, who seemed to be the only one running the place, handed us some bedding and said someone would be bringing us some soap. Well, it never came, and we had to go ask again. To top it off, a free breakfast was supposed to be included (in the form of ready-to-go bagged food, due to COVID-19), but when we went to pick up 3 bags for our family early in the morn. on our check-out day, we were told "Oh, we don't have any bags of food. We ran out yesterday." We said/thought, "What?? Yesterday? Really??" Couldn't believe it! They apparently had nothing for guests on the day we were there - no planning whatsoever, no apology (the 2 people there were pretty matter-of-fact and also rude about it), and not even one bag avail. that we could even share! Our rate included breakfast, but we got nothing. No compensation offered either. Needless to say, we're not staying there again when we're in the area (as we will be in the future). Very disappointed with what we thought would be a good property, since it was a Marriott name.

The room was very clean. The sofa bed was not a pull-out but a sofa to sleep on. The cookware and cutlery in the kitchen have been removed presumably due to Covid-19.

Great location. Terrible Customer Service!

PROS: Check-in was ok. The day Manager with the draids was great, the suite was newly renovated, very modern, spacious & comfortable. The beds were comfortable. Location is great because it's close to a lot of restaurants etc. CONS: They are renovating the hotel so you will see dumpsters and building materials upon entering the hotel. The hotel is close to the road, so you hear the traffic. The pool is located at the front of the lobby, no privacy there. The website said continental breakfast, but once I checked, I was told due to COVID-19, NO breakfast. The WIFI was not working for the first 2-3 hours after checking in. The lady at the front desk blamed it in on the bad weather, because it was raining. My husband went down to talk about the WIFI, she blamed it on his phone. I called around 6:30 pm from my room again, only to be told sometimes you have to try multiple times before it works.🤔 While on the phone I explained to the front desk clerk that the suite was not properly cleaned because I found hair on the bathroom shower tile, the shower curtain lining was dirty and obviously hadn't been bleached in a while. I had to wipe down the kitchen counters, stove, dining table & chairs. I was very frustrated because we're paying for sloppy service. The lady at the front desk asked me if I want to check out? This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. I will never stay here again! The lady that worked on July 7th in the evening shift should be retrained or fired.😠

I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and I must say this is one of the best I’ve ever stayed. Everything was immaculate, it made you feel welcomed once you walked through the door. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Tallahassee. I highly recommend whoever travels to this city to stay here for an experience of your life.
