Courtyard by Marriott Florence

Dirty and we booked for the outside fire pit because we wanted to be outside with friends because of Covid and it wasn't working. My bathroom was filthy

The room was clean and comfortable. The sraff were friendly and professional. The area around the hotel offers a variety of dining and shopping locations. I would stay here again if i were in the area.

Check in was less than amiable and helpful. I wanted a king size — made to effort to accommodate me.

This location was a borderline dump. From the minute you walked through the door, you good see the disrepair as far as the condition of the receiving area. Even the “snack purchase” area looked dirty and ransacked. Then I had to be assigned a second room after complaining that my initial room was dirty. Literally splatter of substances on furniture, the TV, and old dried food on the headboard. The attendant complained that they were sold out and would have to move someone to another facility to change my room. She reluctantly changed it. The second room was clean but the sliding door to the outside was in disrepair and so was the screen. The outside was dirty and had old empty cigarette boxes on the floor. The furniture set up inside the room had the desk pushed up against the AC and kept interfering with air flow. I am seriously disappointed.

We stayed there for a funeral me my son and his mother next door people smoking weed playing music all night the carpet had stain in it also the lounge chair had stain all over it. Wouldn’t never stay there again

The room was in bad shape! The carpet in the room was dirty.

Clean, staff very nice and location is great .I have slayed here 3X and have never been disappointed.

This is the first time I am writing a negative review regarding a Marriott property. The couch in the room was sunken and dirty! I would not even sit on it! The carpets in the room, hallway and elevators were dirty and stained! The screen to the patio door was ripped and the windows were not clean. Since a huge spider made their home in the hallway, it was evident that hallway was not cleaned or checked on a daily basis. Since I was only staying for a night and was exhausted, I sucked it up! There should be a more vigilant presence of staff! Even though the staff was friendly, the front desk was not occupied several times during my stay including at checkout.

The room was musty smelling and damp. Bathroom small and only a half a roll of toilet paper. No complimentary breakfast which most places are still doing. Overall it was not and enjoyable experience. Would not book that hotel again and not recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed.
